Everlast Gyms - LeighAvis 

-Gym equipment is falling apart.
-been told multiple times the steam room will be fixed soon and I’ve been waiting 2 months.
-No air conditioning
-Not enough equipment if you go from 3pm-8pm as it’s far too busy.
- Only 3 showers out of the 7 Working and even then it’s freezing or boiling for the 4 second it’s on before constantly having to push the button.

Been a member here for 10 years and it is definitely at its worst and not worth the money anymore.

Absolutely brilliant spin class with Jodie! From start to finish, the energy is high and the class is so well structured. The playlist is always spot on, the motivation never drops, and Jodie really knows how to push you while still making it enjoyable for all abilities. You leave feeling worked hard, motivated, and buzzing. One of the best spin classes I’ve done! highly recommend! 🚴‍♀️🔥

Classes are bad. Especially with no air conditioning, no windows, no ventilation and bad rude staff.
Leigh Everlast gym has no air cooling/heating system due to the Air conditioning units not being maintained that are now permanently out of use.
It has been two years of no circulating fresh air in the gym and there are no windows for open ventilation.
The roof is made out of tin including the exterior of the building. As such the gym is a hot sweatbox on hot days and freezing on cold days.
Pathetically, they have put some plug-in fans in place that just circulate the stale poor-quality air that makes me feel sick.
There is obviously a buildup of airborne bacteria that us members are breathing in.
This is a health hazard. As such, I have terminated my membership because Everlast clearly do not care about our safety.

Jodie and Michelle’s cycle classes are brilliant! The main reason I come to the gym. Great music is played, there’s a good mixture of sprints and resistance work to mix up the workout, and there’s always a good atmosphere.

Both instructors take the time to make sure any new starters know how to properly work the bike and ensure their posture is correct to avoid any injuries.

Great class for beginners or advanced.

I’m a regular at weekly spin classes and mainly because Jodie really pushes you and gets the most out of you in the sessions. She makes them fun and challenging and worth going to! I feel like her classes are working and helping me improve my fitness.

Jodie is very engaging, encourages throughout.

My favourite part of the gym is Hitstep on a Monday evening. I thoroughly look forward to it every week and Jodie just makes me feel as ease. She is fun, energetic and enthusiastic which makes the class 10 times more enjoyable!

Jodie is an outstanding spin instructor who brings amazing energy to every class. Her coaching is clear, motivating, and perfectly timed—she knows exactly how to challenge you while still making the ride enjoyable. The atmosphere she creates is upbeat and welcoming, no matter your experience level.

Her classes are always well-planned, with great music and pacing that keep you fully engaged from start to finish. You walk out feeling stronger, inspired, and glad you showed up. Jodie truly makes every session worth it.

Jodie’s classes are fantastic! She brings so much energy and makes the classes so enjoyable - wouldn’t go to anyone else for my hiitstep fix!

Horrible place, they sued my friend because he left negative review about the state of the cleanliness of the gym.

Will call the police on you for giving a bad review.

Islamophobic business spreading hate on social media. No doubt posted without thinking and will probably hide behind ‘my account was hacked’ BS. There is no tolerance for racism or Islamophobia. You’re uneducated and spreading your venom about things you know nothing about is only further fuelling the fire. BOYCOTT THIS GYM. They don’t care about children being murdered and would rather blame everything on Islam. Typical roundabout painter racist.

Worst gym I’ve ever been to and the class Boxfit was so bad.

I have been a member since it opened up.this is the worst it's ever been cleanliness bad lockers and changing rooms I used to do 8 classes a week I am down to 3 a week now there is no holiday cover machines take ages to repair not enough mats for people int studio had well. Has gym floor for classes.

I have been a member of Everlast in Leigh since they took over from DW. Since taking over the gym at Leigh it has unfortunately gone badly downhill. The major problem is lack of air-conditioning which has not worked for months, and they cannot give a date for a repair to take place, in fact the management have actually lied about the repair date.
In addition to this the facility used to have two Jacuzzis which are no longer available.
The steam room is filthy along with much of the changing room and showers.
Previously there has been a good selection of classes which have recently been removed along with a very popular PT .
Machines in the gym area are constantly breaking down and can take months to repair .
Complaints are ignored or bounced between head office and local management; the outcome however is generally no action.
Most of the staff are indifferent to members and sometimes downright rude.
I will be looking elsewhere!!

Staff are rude, childish and constantly contradict themselves. The steam and changing rooms are pure filth and a hygiene risk. Most of the equipment is broken and it’s unbearable to workout on the gym floor as the air conditioning is broken with no signs of getting fixed, they constantly lock the studio where there is air con working and depending which member of staff is on may or may not open it. The lack of classes is an absolute joke with 3 full days next week with no classes.
