Everlast Gyms - Llanelli Avis 9

Been diagnosed with decompensated cirrhosis and will probably need a liver transplant within the next year. Tried to cancel contract under the medical clause, told that my letter confirming diagnosis doesn't explicitly say not to attend gym, so keep paying. Thanks.

Avoid working here at all costs!!!

I got hired here and on my first day I wasn’t given an induction, I was told to get on with my work without being told anything about it or shown what it was I was actually supposed to be doing didn’t even know where I put my things, I wasn’t given no logins or work email, I was meant to of started on the 1st September and the day before I had to ring as no one bothered to get in contact with me, I didn’t know my rota, they also put me on my first shift with a male who wasn’t able to show me the women’s section so they are very backwards in regards to this, I wasn’t given break times, what time the pool shuts nothing! and the manger was highly unprofessional and arrogant. I’ve then tried to ring three times to let them know I will not be going back and I got ignored, I also sent an email explaining and that also got ignored.
If you’re planning on applying for any cleaning role I really wouldn’t bother wasting your time with this place, it’s clear why everyone is leaving so quickly.

Never ending refurbishment after floods. It's a very long time since the refurbishment after the recent floods should have been ended. The upper rooms still not in use for the pilates/yoga/dance/fitness classes. They started taking place on the main gym floor which is uncomfortable/embarrassing for most of the attendees.

What I would like are plugs to put your own hairdryers/straighteners.
Although hair dryers are provided,they are shocking.
As a professional that goes before work I would like to look presentable after the gym or pool.
I see other ladies in a similar situation which is frustrating,although £35.00 per month is good value ,I believe better far better service could be provided in this area.
Sadly for this reason only ,I would change gym especially when the new ccc is opening soon...please keep your customers

Closed today. Note left on the door. No e-mail sent to members to let them know and website not updated to say closed so wasted journey. Poor treatment of members.

The steam room at the Llanelli location has now been out of service for nearly 2 months with no offer of a discount - it’s 1/3 of the pool complex! Not good enough.

I was in Llanelli for work and saw Everlast was close to my hotel. I popped in and enquired about a day pass. The guy at the desk was really helpful and set me up to use the facilities.
The changing rooms were very clean and a very decent size
The gym area itself was also very clean and we'll organised with plenty of equipment and space.
I also used the pool and sauna which again was very well kept.
All in all a really good experience, wish I had one on my doorstep. (Castleford if you want to open one up with the same facilities nearer to me)

Called to cancel my membership as I've had an operation. I was told first I can't cancel as I can still go in the sauna and do rehab, once he realised I was out of contract he abruptly hung up.

Had issues where they still took payments after cancelling previously (when out of contract), nightmare.

This place is unethical, if you try to cancel your membership they will manipulate you in many creative ways, it happened to every single person who tried to end their membership, stir away from this place for your own peace of mind
