Formula One Autocentres - Bury St Edmunds Avis 

I've just been to Formula One Tyres Autocentre in Bury St. Edmunds and would like to thank the staff for their exceptional customer service . Kai who looked after me couldn't have been more helpful.Range Rover tyres are not cheap but I had shopped around and was quoted the best price in the area by Formula One. The waiting room was clean comfortable and well presented and nice coffee from the machine. I can't recommend this company enough and will be sharing my experience with friends and family.

Booked a tyre replacement on Tuesday for Friday morning. Arrived at appointment time to be told the tyre didn't arrive the previous day- no phone call to save me a wasted trip. Was assured it was on the lorry for today's delivery and could be fitted later in the day but failed to arrive a second time. Major inconvenience- not impressed.

Have used the Bury St Edmunds branch many times so had no worries this time to have a fuel filter changed on my diesel.
It went wrong from the outset. Mechanic didn't use a seat protector, then left the keys on the roof.
It was then obvious he didn't have a clue where the filter was as I had to show him. He failed to know the system needed bleeding and ended up putting the battery on charge as just kept trying to start it.
At this point he was losing patience "I've (expletive) had enough". To be honest so had I by this point.
Once it was working he moved the car to the car park where he bounced it on to grass so hard that the bumper came loose and clogged the exhaust with mud. I immediately took photos and called out the supervisor who said he failed to see how it had happened there and I was welcome to take it up with customer care. This is despite the mechanic even admitting it.
The regional managers poster was on the wall requesting feedback on the service at the branch so I emailed him with photos etc and to this date still have received no reply. Customer care indeed.
USE THIS PLACE AT YOUR PERIL !!!

Great customer service, very fast, efficient & friendly. The 2 guys I dealt with, Kai & Ben, were a credit to the company. Would highly recommend.

I booked my car for a service and MOT at the Bury St. Edmunds branch.
Unfortunately, my car failed the MOT.
Bart the manager explained the reasons why and showed me the defective components on my car.
The additional works required totaled £600 which was an unwelcome and unexpected bill but following Bart's comprehensive and informative explanation I was satisfied that the works were required.
This was my first visit to the Bury St Edmunds branch, I usually use the Chelmsford site where the staff and service has always been excellent and I am pleased to report that this was duplicated at the Bury St Edmunds premises.
Bart is an excellent ambassador for Formula One Autocentres and a credit to the organisation.

Very fast, very good and friendly. Incredible happy and will be back again when needed!!!!

I was sceptical for changing garage but my friend recommended this one. I regret that i was waiting so long. Customer service spot on! I'm working nights so contact with me is difficult but menager of this site is so flexible... Also, his knowledge about cars is unbelievable. I highly recommend this garage and menager to everyone! So failed MOT (Bury St Edmunds). Need 2 new tires for my 4 year old Mercedes’. They sent me a message saying “recommended replacement tires”. So using their RECOMMENDED only to be told they are cheap and not suitable. So why not be upfront and recommended proper tires instead of the snaring nonsense. Then told replacement were over £400 each .. went elsewhere and got like for like at £290 each ..

I really recommend this place. Amazing service, amazing work, very quick. Competitive prices and customer service is amazing. Manager Bart is perfect every time, he is absolutely professional. I'm so glad that I found this garage. Thank you guys. See you soon!
