Formula One Autocentres - Walkden Avis 

I bought tyres through blackcircle and used F1 walkden because they had the tyres in stock. I am disappointed in the service I received. Whilst the lads that work there are polite and respectful they didn’t balance my wheels before putting them back on the car. I mean who doesn’t balance the wheel once you have had new tyres put on? The consequence of it was obviously vibration when driving on the motorway. I returned to complain and they balanced the wheel noting the passenger needed 15g and the driver 5g. I was told this shouldn’t have made a difference. But it has! It’s got rid of the vibration, why not do it in the first place considering I paid for it to begin with? But no, Iv had to waste my time in going back and forth. Safe to say I won’t be returning there.

Big shout out to Ethan & Mo at the Walkden branch who diagnosed what was wrong with my car in next to no time and saved me the 60 mile round trip to the garage where I purchased it from. Thanks guys.

Visited the garage after my fuel cap wouldn't open - Mo and the team were so good - helped me out and got me back on the road. The were very friendly and professional and took lots of care while fixing my car. Highly recommend this garage

Picked my pristine mercedes slk up after mot to find rear bumper damaged and oil on front passenger seat. AFTER having my review taken down within 24 hours was asked to go through formula ones customer care and there area manager to resolve the matter having sent emails and photos was told he could not see any impact damage to rear bumper then i had to insist on him seeing the damage in person back at formula one walkden after some time inspecting the damage admitted there was damage then showed me a picture of my car on the ramp on the MOT bay then told me that it was not them that had done the damage it apparently was there before the MOT test witch I refuted then to be told that we're not taking any liability and if i wanted to to take the matter up with the ombudsman.

Just had some tyres fitted at the Walkden branch which I have used before. They have absolutely made a mess of my alloy wheels. Stay away they are cowboys. I could have done a better job myself! They just denied it. Grow a pair and own up!

Have had a number of unfortunate tyre issues over the past few months and my local centre has looked after me really well. No hesitation with going back there’s for the next puncture!

I was in a bit of a pickle. The back box to my exhaust had finally rusted off mid drive. Formula one auto centres was the first garage I saw on Google, so thought I'd give them a go.

Am I glad I did!! I received excellent communication over the phone and a quote on arrival. The guys had it done in no time.
Fantastic customer service! I will be going back for MOTs, services and any other issues with my car.

I went to Walkden brunch to have four wheel alighment done Which was very quick which i Find unusual.Because I know a bit about cars i check the
Bolts and there was untouched They're supposed to give you paper to show the difference. But the guy at the counter .Put a piece of paperwork over the Top of it. So I rang the head office. That was very ignorant. told me i had 28 days to have a checks So I went to the Bolton branch. They put it on the alignment machine. And they confirmed It's not been touched So Was advised Two Take it. back two Walkden branch They said We've aligned it properly now And give me Print out But it still doesn't seem right. I am not happy. If you don't want to be ripped off, avoid this garage.

Horrible place. I used all chain garages in Walkden and surrounding areas and this one is definitely the worst. I got the quote for servicing my Lexus and booked it in.
When I came to collect the car after service they been trying to charge me extra on top of the quote for oil filter £7 and £40 for specializing oil because car is hybrid. That “special oil” is just 0W20 and is maybe £10 more expensive than standard 5W30 or W40. Also they know that the car is hybrid when they quote for the job!
As well they should make numbers of checks on the car and top up the liquids - that never happen! On invoice they put “specialize oil “ on the question what oil they used – brand and viscosity I never got answer.
Just keep away from this dump.

Now for my car and vans I’m using local mobile mechanic. Great service from him! Very honest and transparent gentlemen.

Absolutely shocking ordered two budget tyres and received two tyres but not same brand or same tread pattern. Steering wheel wobbles at 60 formula one Autocentres will not resolve the issue or issue a refund!

Dropped off for MOT first thing needed some work to pass . All work done same day very professional and fairly priced

Arrived late for my MOT slot so agreed to complete the service as planned and move MOT to another date - arrived to collect car and they had managed to complete my MOT as well on the same day - first class service once again from this team

Great customer service from all that work here. Couldnt fault them one bit. Break discs had gone in car was stressing to try and get it in but the lad that i spoke to jake i believe his name was. Did what he could and got me in that day. Would 10/10 recommend to anyone. Thanks again

I took my BMW e92 into Formula One for emergency tyres, and I can’t thank the boys enough, super knowledgeable, super quick turn around, car feels good as new. Completely sympathetic of my situation, knowing I needed my car for work, and worked accordingly. I absolutely will recommend this garage to everyone I know.

Went into your garage in walkden for a brake fluid change, was done by Oliver can’t thank him enough what a night and day difference that made to my breaks!!

Went to the branch last thing on a Friday with a nail in my tyre. I expected to be asked to come back the following morning as I guessed they were about to close. Instead a staff member came and took the car and sorted my puncture out within 15 mins. He also gave all my tyres a health check. Great experience. Thanks to all.
