Don't respect their own rules
They don't even bother to explain why the festival isn't approved. I saw their platform, and decided to start a film festival, something that I always wanted to do, and they denied my application, I saw the rules, and remember I forgot to put some buttons on my website, so after I did, I applied again, but my application only got deleted, and I didn't get any notification, or explanation. After a couple more attempts, I tried calling, inside the calling hours provided by them (UK and ES) only to hear the default tone of unavailable number (multiple times). After they finally replied my emails they just said, and quote exactly:
"Hello.
I’m afraid your festival is not compliant with our Terms of use, so we won’t be activating it in our system."
To which I pointed out that I read the terms of service, and didn't know what the problem was, and if they could point it out for me. They just replied:
"I’m afraid our decision is final."
I invested money and got people involved in this project, expecting them to respect the terms and conditions put by themselves. Not only did they fail at that, but they also failed with their customer service, not caring at all about the users of their platform.
I would recommend looking for such services from more professional platforms, where they can actually respect their own rules, and help solve the problems with their clients instead of closing the doors on their faces.
