The feeder is built to last and the only part likely to break over time through constant use is replaceable quite cheaply.

I was trying to take the feeder apart for cleaning, when the two flanges that support the piece that the birds actually feed from snapped off. This means that the feeder is not usable, as there is nothing to stop the piece from falling off. I have e-mailed the company twice, but have had no more than an automated reply promising to get back to me soon. This problem has now been sorted - apparently their computer was sending me into junk! Replacement parts have been received & I am very happy with the service provided. I am late updating this as Trustpilot sent it to an old e-mail address.

Very pleased with my new bird feeder. Large capacity and easy to clean which is so important . The birds took to it straight away.

Bird Feeder - really pleased with this bird feeder!

I now have three of these feeders and they are well worth the cost as they are very sturdily built and most importantly keeps the bird food dry. Keeping seed dry has been a constant bugbear of mine for many years using other bird feeders. So congratulations to Finches Friend for building a feeder which does this!

Amazingly well thought out bird feeder. Super easy to keep clean. The birds waste less seed than our old traditional window feeder with a flat tray. Basically saving you money!

Cleaner Feeder 2 with guard is designed to improve bird safety and appears to be well made, the stainless steel cage is an improvement on soft steel and should outlast almost everything. The birds are still thinking it through - Tits in and out but Finches still wary after 10 days or so but getting there. Food dry after heavy rain and the feeder has remained clean ... the cage helps the overall design.

Information about what is a good feeder and what a bad feeder can do

A first class experience. Prompt dispatch and delivery and a well packaged item. The feeder is of excellent quality, robust and cleverly designed. The seed is protected from rain in even the heaviest downpours and once the birds got used to it, it’s very popular. Easy to clean, the large feeder having a second base tray, the rooks and jackdaws can’t reach the seed. I’m really impressed and will be looking to buy a second.

These are our second feeders, the first one lasted about 5 years. Very easy to clean, and we have lots of green finches and gold finches in the garden so it is important to keep them clean

Great product. Was difficult to know when it would be delivered as no information was provided on expected delivery.

Very quick delivery

Purchased a window feeder. Good points are: it attaches to the window securely and is not accessible to pigeons. Negative points: it's not that easy to clean the entire unit. And, although smaller birds such as blue tits and chaffinches use it easily, bullfinches seem to struggle slightly to use it.

I purchased the feeder last year - working very well. Magpies cling on to swing and release food onto ground so decided to buy the cage. Magpies quickly worked out they can't access it so mission accomplished. Easy to order from website and quick delivery.

What a great feeder. You can tell it's been born out of a passion for getting it right. No more dismantling your bird feeders for that pain, but really important job, of cleaning it, no more mouldy clumps of seeds stuck in the feeder after a period of rain. This feeder is really super easy to clean and the design also means no more wet and mouldy bird food either. It's very robust and looks like it will last a long time. Plus the customer service is second to non - I had a problem assembling mine - a stupid error on my behalf - and one of the owners of the company was soon in touch and arranged a video call with me to sort my problem out - a level of customer service I'm not used to these days - brilliant! The company owners obviously have a real passion for healthy birds at a time where many birds are contracting illnesses whilst coming to our garden feeders. The RSPB has stop selling some types of feeders because of the serious concern about diseases passed on at garden feeders. With this feeder you can safely continue to feed your garden birds knowing that its whole design is about the simplicity of minimising the risk to the birds with a simple to clean robust and durable garden feeder. I wish I'd bought one ages ago.

Excellent robust products.I bought the Cleaner Feeder 1 and the Peanut Feeder and both are a smash hit in North Kingston, Greater London. Feeding frenzies for fledglings have seen Great Tits and Blue Tits squabbling over access. Transformed the garden activity and means I may need to start a new job soon to support the feed spend!
