Vehicle Recovery
2 bad days broken down , Xmas and New Year’s Eve. First time came out got car going everything fine for a week then had to call out again. Recovered car back to dealership where everything was sorted on warranty. The call handlers and the recovery people were excellent and would highly recommend if needed .

Vehicle recovery
The recovery driver let us know when he was setting off and his estimated time of arrival. When he arrived he was very polite and helpful and was careful with our vehicle. An all round excellent service

Great service
Great service, prompt arrival, professional job. I was kept regularly updated with the location of the recovery vehicle prior to arrival and an eta was provided also which helped with planning. Very satisfied with service received, would recommend.

I reported my vehicle as broken down at home, late on a Friday afternoon. My vehicle was recovered early on Saturday morning, after a telephone call to discuss and arrange this. I was kept informed at every stage of the recovery and I am completely satisfied with the service provided

Terrible customer service, avoid at all costs
Terrible customer service, don't answer phones, slow to turn -up, charge you for recovery that is clearly included in your policy. As already stated National recovery is 100% included in the policy so the response below is completely inaccurate and dishonest.

We are sorry to hear that you felt the customer service fell short on this occasion. On the day of your breakdown, our network was experiencing exceptionally high demand—over double our usual volume of assistance requests—which did unfortunately lead to longer waiting times for calls to be answered.
Regarding the arrival time of the recovery vehicle and the charge you mentioned, this relates directly to the type of assistance that was requested and what is included within your policy. As explained at the time, your cover—provided as part of the vehicle warranty rather than purchased directly from us—includes a specific recovery mileage limit. The destination requested by the driver was approximately twice this limit. The charge applied was solely for the additional mileage beyond what the policy covers.
Because of the extended distance required, arranging a recovery operator who could undertake a minimum 140-mile round trip naturally took longer than a standard local recovery. Despite these challenges, a suitable driver was allocated and dispatched within 60 minutes of the recovery destination being confirmed, which is considered a reasonable timeframe given the distance involved and the high national demand that day.
We appreciate that delays are frustrating, and we apologise if the wait felt longer than expected. However, considering the circumstances and the nature of the assistance requested, we believe the service provided was appropriate and within policy terms. To clarify your final concern, the additional charge was necessary because the destination requested exceeded the mileage included in your warranty-based cover.
Quick and professional
I was surprised how quickly the truck arrived and the driver gave good advice after trying to get the car going. The service was efficient and professional all round.

Quick arrival time
Quick arrival time despite grid lock on M62. They support whats3words they found us within an hour. Quick tire change and allowed my partner and little boy to sit in the recovery truck out of the way of dangerous fast moving traffic.

Excellent service from call to recovery
Breakdown call handler Chris was brilliant, my phone kept cutting out but he called me back twice, was empathetic and very helpful . He texted to give me eta of recovery truck although thankfully the driver arrived well within time frame . Truck driver/ mechanic was able to restart my car, stayed with me to make sure it ran and gave me advice on taking it to garage asap. Overall a very positive experience from a stressful situation.
