I don't know how they've got my details…

I don't know how they've got my details but I don't have a good feelings about it!
They're constantly calling me from 020 landline numbers and usually get ignored; And when I ring them they call me by my name which is very annoying.
The type of People that I don't want to get involved with, I have been scammed in the past unfortunately. So pleased approach cautiously and never share any private information for whatever reason with the unknowns.
I hope this helps and give you your answer!
If you're experiencing the same scenario,
I would just block the number and report it.
Thanks for reading this comment.

SCAM!!

This company just called me, the number was 01282380069. They told me I had won ten free lotto tickets. I asked how I had won without entering any competitions etc and she started talking to me like I was an idiot, she said I had already won so why was I questioning her! Obviously she wanted my bank details so I hung up. Please be careful. Don't even answer the call, it's a scam!

⚠️ SCAM WARNING: Predatory and Misleading Tactics! ⚠️

My mum was targeted by First Prize Lotto through a call from 020 3868 1037. They took advantage of her limited understanding of these kinds of schemes and misled her into thinking she was simply getting 10 free tickets. However, they later claimed they'd be charging £39 for a syndicate draw.

This is incredibly unethical and feels like a deliberate scam targeting vulnerable individuals. No proper transparency, and the way they get your details and start charging without clear consent is shady at best.

Avoid at all costs, and make sure your elderly or less tech-savvy family members are aware. I'm reporting them to Action Fraud UK and the ICO for misuse of data and deceptive marketing.

Lottery Syndicate Scam

After applying for some surveys related to ASDA vouchers, I received a call from First Prize Lotto. Firstly, they got the date wrong for when I applied for the ASDA vouchers. They attempted to entice me into a lottery syndicate and asked for my bank details. I refused with the implication from the phone operator that I was chickening out. Still refusing to provide my bank details, I asked what their Companies House registration number was to operate in the UK while I looked at their website. Eventually, they told me it was 14298759 which is for Amalfi Outsourcing UK Limited (there's a reference to Amalfi on the website), a UK-based subsidiary of a South African operation. This subsidiary was dissolved on 1st October 2024, which seemed like news to the phone operator. Scam

Do NOT LET THEM SCAM YOU!!

Do NOT LET THEM SCAM YOU!!! They have now called me for the last five days. The POSITIVE reviews on here are FAKE and are produced by employees and those with interest in the company. I have now blocked them from calling me again and will never give them any personal information. Their calls originating from Rotherham ask for personal banking information which they then use to scam your bank account. They are aggressive when challenged put the phone down only to call again two minutes later. If it was legitimate, they would actually take the time to explain answers to questions. In addition to this I I’m suspicious that it isn’t even a human who you are talking to because when you ask them questions, they do not respond with answers, and there are five second poses pauses between their speech. Do not engage with this company. They are wasting their time contacting me.

A shame I am unable to score less than…

A shame I am unable to score less than 1!!! A woman with a south African accent called from a London number claiming I'd won an amazon competition. I told her I don't remember when when was this? Then starts going on about some lotto syndicate and you have to be in it to win it. I humoured her for a bit. She kept telling me she doesn't need bank details then started asking who I bank with and said she needed my account and Sort Code to prove my identity . I'm like hmm ok wait a minute, started faffing around and I put the phone down. They tried calling a few more times until I blocked them.

Why do they honestly think people would be so stupid. Scary thing is she did know some or my details . No idea how. However she got my email address completely wrong .

This scares me for vulnerable people's sake . This is the number they called from 0203 514 2998

Scam do not give them info

Scam! I am in hospice care for brain cancer and got very confused by the mans accent and gave my account number thinking there is nothing they can do with that, and they set up a direct debit! Very very convincing I never get scammed but it is likely due to being so unwell and them taking advantage of this

Scammers.

Scammers.
Got call telling me I'd won 10 free draws in lottery. Guy said he was calling from London, but when challenged changed it to S. Africa. Said I was eligible to become part of a syndicate and asked for bank details to pay winnings into. I told him I'd have to go upstairs to get details and it would take a few minutes because I was quite elderly. In the meantime I finished my lunch and made a cuppa. He hung up after 15 mins.
Rang back three times after that. I told him I didn't feel comfortable giving bank details to strangers and he tried to persuade me that with sort code and account number, it was perfectly safe. Eventually I stopped playing with him and asked for address of registered office in UK. He gave an address (no idea if it's correct or not - tried to check, but found no proof) Told him I wasn't interested, and that it was a scam, and he hung up.
At least I wasted 40 mins of his time when he wasn't scamming other (often vulnerable) people.

Don't be fooled

Don't be fooled. Luckily I was online when they rang. I said no to the address they read out as mine (although it was correct) and they passed me on to someone else who didn't ask me to confirm my address - they are only interested in getting your money. I asked her to explain the company and she went into this long spiel about being compliant with privacy laws. I didn't let them get to the stage of asking me for money, just said I wasn't interested, hung up and blocked the number. I advise everyone to do the same!

The automated line had gone to give all…

The automated line had gone to give all my details as correct and passed me to the Guy who kept telling me to remember him when I won the syndicated million for 30 people and said I would not be debited today on this call and I said, ok so why not since you have all my details correct so far, let me win it and then I can come and confirm all the details you have and then claim my money and remember you my lucky caller and he was bent on getting my sort code and account number and then I blatantly refused and we both wished each other luck... SCAM ARTISTS.. BEWARE

It is a scam!

It is a scam!
I want to say a big thank you to TrustPilot and a massive shout out to the top complaint at the time, Ese Josh. Without you I’d have given my details over as they called whilst I was asleep.
My spidey senses were tingling as I get scam calls all the time. I usually enjoy taking the piss for a bit and saying random stuff to them in order to throw them. They eased it a bit when they said they had all my details anyway so I can give them my bank details OK. I laughed at that then immediately searched the company name. Soon as I saw TrustPilot saying scam I told her I’d just read she was a scammer. She asked where I read this. I told her she’s as likely to get that as my bank details.
