Went into our local Five Guys.Had a meal and wanted to get some gift cards Jarrod our assistant went above and beyond our expectations in fulfilling our order Fantastic customer service

I just regret not taking photos - this is my first and last takeaway order from Five Guys (Rushden Lakes)!
After reading so many rave reports and reviews in the USA press, I've decided to give it a go and try it, especially because there was a naked option – i.e. no bun.
A nice touch was that the single beef patty came in a foil container, but it was very slim and it looks like one side of it (at the shallow end) has been nibbled and the accompanied (supposedly grilled) onions bits spent a few minutes sweating in a pan – no taste whatsoever.
The Cajun fries came in a separate bag – a huge (much too much) combo of light and very dark (inedible) ones, as well as a paper cup – which couldn’t contain the amount given...what was that for???
Lastly, to rub it in, the BBQ sauce required a magnifying glass – probably about 5cc of something, but definitely not tasting of BBQ (at least not as served by other fast-food outlets).

Had an opportunity to take my wife and daughter to 5 guys burgers at Rushden Lakes. I’ve been looking forward to trying a 5 guys burger since I heard of them.

Well I have to say I was disappointed by the product. The system of every burger is plain and you pimp it up the way you want works fine, but I think the burger is probably made a long way in advance of it being served. The bun way damp and moist which made it most unappetising to say the least. That said the burger patties were tasteless. They had good consistency but lacked something.

I think the worst bit was the cost of everything. A double burger was about £10.50 fries were like a fiver and the drinks were in the £4.50 area. So I fulfilled an ambition to try a five guys and won’t be bothering again.

Realistically a Burger King is a better choice in my opinion. So takes your choice.

Just want to give a big mention to Lauren, the general manager, for her help today. We came to the store today at rushden lakes during a busy period and she could not be more accommodating for us. Our daughter has allergies and she went above and beyond to help us out and select the right food for our daughter. Lauren made sure our order was correct and gave it to us herself to make sure there was no confusion with other orders. We struggle at other food facilities but felt at ease when ordering from this restaurant.

Lauren, assuming she’s a manager went above and beyond during our visit, the store was super busy and still was able to deal with the rush and make sure everyone had the best experience.
Extra consideration was taking knowing about our allergy’s and don’t think she could have done much more for us! Absolutely amazing Lauren well done and thank you!

Loved their food and service

Today’s meal was very disappointing. Long wait for mediocre food: burgers luke warm/cold and looking at the state of the cheese, had probably been left standing for a while. Chips inedible: cold, tasteless and undercooked. Deposited in the bin.
Complete waste of time and £21.
It’s really gone down hill and we won’t be going back.

Feel ripped off, Paid £60!!! For 2 burgers, 2 hotdogs, 3 milkshakes, 2 cokes and 3 chips. Then had to wait 35 minutes!! For that price I expected a lot more. Food was ok but service poor. Back to McDonald's next time.

Staff really nice and place clean and tidy. Wait wasn’t that long for freshly cooked food, and quality was lovely.
Milkshake was amazing!!! Chips lovely and burger all very nice with loads of options. Definitely found a niche in the market - fast decent burgers however only bug bear is price.
For three bacon and cheese burgers, one large chips and three milkshakes it was £47!!! For me I don’t need to say anymore… rather than a regular thing it might become an annual or it’s nice but expensive so won’t go back thing!!

Five Guys Rushden Lakes. Order via Deliveroo short of 4 large portions of fries, 4 out of 6 items ordered. Very impressive I must say. Deliveroo driver hugely embarrassed and when I spoke to Deliveroo I received an immediate refund for the short order. Spoke to the manager at Five Guys and he could not have been more unhelpful. Speak to Deliveroo was his response, whereas Five Guys screwed up the order. Happy with refund from Deliveroo, but no fries with burgers. Shame on you Five Guys. You are happy to use companies like Deliveroo to expand turnover, but accept no responsibility when you screw up. Will seriously consider using Five Guys again as this is not the first time they have messed up an order.
