Excellent fresh fish, we have just received our second order in two weeks, the Megrim was beautiful, dressed crab fully packed with white meat and brown underneath and the King Scallops did not disappoint, second delivery, Lemon Sole, King scallops, Skate Wing and herrings, all well received, this delivery has got to travel 365 miles to us and the packaging and ice packs still frozen, looking forward to my next order. Thank you.

rip off and cheat , after first order, fish will get very small and frozen(not fresh!), prices will go up, they dont deserve to have clients. The worst cheaters I came across. we ve been left without food for the week end all the family of 7 , as box arrived with tails and frozen leftovers , no cod, no salmon, only cheap fish...painful experience , no answer to the phone nor emails, thanks a bunch

Easy to order. Great box of Newlyn quality fish. Lemon, Megrin, Place, Cod, Haddock and skate. Good value and well insulated packaging, arrived cold. I will order again.

Bought from this company for years. So so disappointed with their price hikes. Ripping the public off is - pure greed. Try buying a side of salmon from Morrisons’ - 6 large pieces for £22. As opposed to nearly £8 for a 200 gm piece of salmon from this company. Appalling rip off of the general public.

Just received my first order of The Fish Box Club. Sole on the bone, monkfish tails, skate wings and lots of white fish. They are all in one large bag so you have to bag them yourself for the freezer, but I am quite happy to do that at the price. Ordered Monday, received Wednesday. I will definitely order again.

We ordered a large box of white fish in October we have only just finished it all. We froze it quite easily. It was superb quality, fresh and promptly delivered by DPD. It was packed well with loads of ice. We weren’t sure what some of the fish was but soon googled it! All the fish was delicious. We will certainly be ordering another box in the new year. Highly recommended both quality and cost. Thank you .

I have used this company several times now. Their fish has always been incredibly fresh on arrival, and when DPD let them down they sent a fresh box without question. A top quality company with lovely helpful staff.

We've ordered a couple of times from these guys, the first time we had the monthly box and really enjoyed each item. This time round we selected the best ones we enjoyed and the service was brilliant.

This is our second fish box and both have been great. Will never buy supermarket fish again. I'm still amazed that it pops up on my doorstep before I've had a chance to put my purse away!

This will be our Third(3) Fish Box, and as the first what a fresh box of fish, great selection, but must admit, do have a problem prepping Skate wings n John Dory, but hey, that's what Google n you-tube are for. super fresh and delivery next day, Fresh- Cornish- Fish & DPD, great combination

UPDATE : About to order another 5kg of salmon and the price has rocketed from £84.99 to £115. That's a thieving 37% increase and is a totally unjustied ripoff. Greed. No doubt the usual 'excuse' of Brexit/pandemic/Ukraine will be used. Pathetic. This salmon is farmed in Scotland, not the EU, Russia or Ukraine. Just plain extortion. They won't get another penny of my money. I'm off to Morrisons today to get some really good salmon without needing a mortgage to pay for it.

Just posted the following review on another site with the same name - called "fresh cornish fish". A bit odd. Anyway, here it is again :
Best fish I've ever had
My husband and I haven't eaten meat for 40+ years, but eat tons of fish. I cure my own fish, smoke lots in my home built smoker, and dry it in the oven when I'm making my yoghurt. I found these people and thought I'd give then a try. Absolutely fantastic range and quality of fish. 2 gorgeous salmon sides - biggest I've ever seen - will get a 5kg box next time. Skate wings were enormous and a bit of a challenge to portion up due to the large bone at the thick end, but I got there - 6 large Portions from 2 wings for £5 ! Mackerel fillets were very small, half the size of those bought in supermarkets, but subsequently very sweet and tender. You'll need 2 fillets per portion, but at £1.49 a pair it's a bargain - I'll be getting a 1kg box next time. Haddock and Cod Fillets were large, meaty and high quality. Good that everything is delivered without packaging. Keeps the cost down - and frankly, anyone buying this quality of fish will certainly be able to identify what it all is ! Only thing I won't buy again is the Megrim Sole - very thin fillets, more like thin plaice. I'll try the lemon sole next time. Very happy indeed. I do hope they don't let success go to their heads and whack their prices up, as is so typically the case. I've deserted many suppliers for that reason as a matter of principle. Hope I can be a permanent customer.

Very impressed. Lived in Cornwall for 22 years and have only just discovered this company. Doh! Impressed with the amount of fish I got in my box, the price, and the immediacy of the delivery. I'm now having fish at least 3 times a week. Maybe it's a coincidence but my blood pressure has gone down as has my average resting heart rate. Maybe unconnected of course but hopefully it's related.

I put in my first order for 3 items but due to storms and strong winds the boats could not go out so it came to me late and in part orders but that is not a problem as that is nature.I sectioned up and froze the 5 kg of white fish fillets as soon as they arrived;my first sample/meal was so fresh and so good in quality.The crevettes were so natural and not farmed with all the additives.I would say that if you want really fresh fish next day or nearly so after it is caught then give it a try-forget supermarkets and others.
They deliver next day with DPD on a time slot.Dont get upset if there are gales and the boats cant go out.
Please support Cornish fisher people and let us make the most of what we have in our waters.

The fish ordered were delicious, beautifully packed and despatched, but I was surprised that what I ordered turned out not not to be Cornish or British produce. Possibly my error, but reflects the overall rating

First time we have ordered from Fresh-Cornish-Fish but received an excellent selection of fish. It was very well packed, so fresh and icy cold. Have so far tried the Megrim and the Haddock and both were delicious. Can’t wait to try the rest. So good to be able to obtain such good fish in the Midlands and to support the hardworking Cornish fishermen. Will definitely order again.

Ordered a larger selection fish box which came carefully packaged and was delivered before lunchtime. The fish was incredibly fresh and this particular box contained 6 varieties of fish. We enjoyed identifying them all (thanks google) and look forward to trying some things we wouldn’t generally buy. Fantastic quality fish and when you work out what it would cost to buy séparately it’s really good value. Will definitely buy again.
