These guys are very knowledgeable and helped us out with repairing our laptop and recovering files. Very helpful and responsive and took the time to explain what they had done and gave us a quick demo in the store. Always happy to help if you speak "geek" or not

I purchased this item (Dell laptop)


I purchased this item, and it turned out to be faulty right away. I contacted the seller on the same day, expecting a resolution. However, despite multiple emails, voice messages, and even recorded proof, I have received no response for over a week.

This company is completely untrustworthy and unprofessional. They ignore customers once they have taken the money. I would strongly advise against buying from them—there is no after-sales support, and they do not stand by their products.

Avoid this seller at all costs!

These guys are absolutely fantastic!!

These guys are absolutely fantastic, I can’t praise or recommend them enough. Not only are they professional & extremely knowledgeable, they are so helpful & don’t make techno phobes like me feel stupid.
Recent problem with my printer no longer talking to my laptop was resolved so swiftly after me tearing my hair out for 4 hrs trying to do the same!!!
Just brilliant!!

Absolutely poor quality service

Absolutely poor quality service. No people skills what do ever I wouldn’t trust them with anything. I order a laptop i7 Mac book pro and from when I got it there was problems.
I sent it back, and they returned it to my allegedly fixed. The laptop turned off by its self.
It’s wouldn’t stay on with out the charger in it. This was not happening when I got it the 1st time. My experience was so terrible and the way they spoke to me like I a bad person for asking for compensation. I’ve never don’t business with a company that’s speaks to me like this and don’t take responsibility. And im telling him the facts and they gentlemen is arguing with me saying im what’s wrong with the world …. Absolutely shocking. I write this review with one purpose, and that’s to make sure they can’t treat any one like this again. Apparently they’ve been running for 30 years. It’s 2024 maybe they methodology is a bit out of date. No consideration for there customers at all will never shop with them again

As you can see by this reply they don’t take nothing seriously and I wouldn’t wish this on my enemies. This has got to be the worst experience ever

Pablo Productions - Yes 30 years and every so often a person like this comes along and we have to try our best to deal with them.

Yes, laptops computers fail thats what your warranty is for. You reported your battery was poor on your refurbished MacBook, we sent the courier to collect it to give you a new battery. All the time you are saying you are going to tell the world how bad we are and you want compensation. Expected half of the cost of the MacBook back plus your laptop because the battery wasn't as good as you thought it should be. None the less we still changed the battery and sent it back. You then reported that it was switching off. We agreed to collect it again, 3 times it failed becuase you were not in. Finally it comes back to us. We have had it on 4 days and not failed once, yet we still offered you a refund or replacement. But again you want compensation.

Im sorry but no. We issued a refund on a laptop that you've had 6 months doing your videos....

Its 2024 yes you are correct, but you think the world owes you a living and everything that goes wrong is always someone else's fault. There is nothing that we could of done to please this person, just a bad apple!!

Instead of Pablo Productions why not 'Compensate Productions'

Fantastic team at FYL!

Fantastic team at FYL, i purchased a gaming computer recently and it’s beyond great, fast service with a smile too, definitely head down for any computer needs!
I will absolutely be back, the team were welcoming and very fast to deal with and get my order together for a certain day for me.

I wish I could recommend these guys as they were faultlessly polite. However, as I have been waiting 11 months (yes, 11 MONTHS) for a replacement CPU fan to be fitted, I think it's fair to say it's not going to happen. FYL initially said they had a new fan in stock and fitted it my MSI gaming laptop. This fan pretty much failed from the off. I got back in touch and was told a replacement would have to be ordered from China (I was also apologised to for the delay in answering the phone. They were very busy as apparently a now ex-employee had messed up quite a few repairs that they were having to sort out. I wonder if my laptop was one of these?). I requested they order the fan and was told they would be in touch once the fan was in stock. I'm still waiting for that call or email. It would have been quicker for me to walk to China to get the fan. Usually I chalk these things up to a "lesson learned" and walk away. However, whilst the cost of the repair was not much, it is if the "new" fan fitted doesn't work. I welcome your comments FYL. BUT I DO NOT APPECIATE YOU CALLING AND LEAVING A NASTY VOICEMAIL ON MY FRIEND'S PHONE. I then called you regarding this and asked you why no contact for 11 months - You said the fan HAD arrived. and told me to ask my friend??? Funny thing is, she never got a call from you anytime in the last 11 months. Apart from the nasty one from today. I asked if you would like me to come into the store and you could tell ME to my face what you said to her. You told me I could and I WOULD BE IN HANDCUFFS . Sorry to disappoint you but I'm not into kinky stuff.

FYL Direct was a really easy and fast way of selling my Laptop, Matthew was great throughout the whole process and fast to respond.
I will definitely use FYL Direct again and would recommend to anyone.

Known Fyldirect for four years

Been dealing with FylDirect for the past four years. Their service has been excellent and the products purchased were usually brand new or dell outlet stocks.
If ever there was an issue, matters were always sorted out without any issues.

Matthew especially, our contact has been absolutely brilliant.
Our purchases have been for business in most cases.

“Scorched” inside laptop

Purchased Dell G15 laptop a couple of years ago.
Ran warm and noisy from the start but didn't think it was a problem, just running hot as a gaming laptop.

As it seemed to be getting hotter (in fact power button was too hot to touch), took to local company to check fans and they found it in a dire state inside. Screws missing, scorch marks!!!, screws loose, plastic film not removed from thermal pad.

Raised with FYL Direct and sent Engineers report.

Phoned up approximately 8 times. Nobody every rang me back.

One person suggested I might have 'done it'.

Eventually rang and got a message that the owner was not interested in doing anything.

Apparently Dell sometimes send them things in this state and they (FYL Direct) don't routinely open them up to make sure they are in a sound condition.

Dell were no help either, they just referred me to FYL Direct.

£700 down the drain. Oh well, never mind....

UPDATE

“As a company we do our best to help” - if no callback after 8 calls is your best then your best ain’t worth much.

“After phone call review come in…” - you wouldn’t even take my call so what do you expect. At least hear the customer out.

There are other reviews similar to mine if you look.

Thank you for the review, the same as google review which once we replied has been deleted.

You have been happy for the last few years, just now its got an issue you have become unhappy. You have taken this to another computer shop which have given it a damming report.

We don't want to get invloved into a who blames who scenario, and as the warranty passed 2 years ago so we decided to leave this.

We value our customers, and the majority of people who deal with us know we are a good company.

Were as you, are unhappy with your laptop, you choose to discredit us and put all the blame onto us. I'm sorry you feel this way and maybe if the laptop had been sent to us first, it would of been dealt with.

But we won't get into any battles with other companies that are looking for praise and a pat on the head.


UPDATE!

Our best is worth a significant amount to the companies and individuals that deal with us.

We heard you out about 4 times, and there was nothing more we could add.

All businesses can't help everyone, and when things do go wrong blame and reviews follow.

Brilliant service

Brilliant service, came across FYL Direct after having my own build issues and was dealt with by Steve. Responsive, personable and did above and beyond, knowledgeable and value for money for what they did!

Would recommend to anyone. Cheers

Convenient location with great service

Straight forward service with no problems - the laptop I wanted was in stock for collection on the day and has lived up to expectations so far. Very helpful to have such a resource on the main street of my local town.
