Gair Gas Avis 

Not to the usual high standard. We don’t get a call or text to confirm what time the engineer was coming. But, more so the engineer didn’t reset the timer or the boiler so we were left with no hot water or heating. Luckily we know how to do this but would be concerned if this happened to an elderly parent or someone who was not aware/confident to sort this issue out.

Arrived on time finished the job to a good standard.

Had Gair out a few times, most recently for a replacement boiler. Always been good engineers with decent personalities and communication skills. Dealing with their HQ has been good too. Recommended.

We are having the kitchen refitted and part of that included moving the Combi Gas boiler from the kitchen into the roof. Sam Cattle who ran the project and his crew kept us informed about what they were doing during the drain down of the system and moving of the boiler. Sam also liaised with the kitchen fitter to ensure that his high standards were met. This was not a large job and at no time did they come and say to me “we have a problem” in fact the opposite. Thanks guys I have no hesitation but to commend them and at the same time recommend this company

Engineer arrived on time after a text alert. Job carried out efficiently and in a timely manner. He was polite and gave fair advice on completion. Have used this company to service our boiler for a few years and will continue to do so.

Everything about our experience with Gair Gas has been outstanding. Each member of staff has done their best to sort out our heating problems with the minimum fuss. The boiler installation guys were brilliant and took the trouble to make sure that the pipework looked like a beautiful art installation! They were very tidy and polite throughout the fitting, all done in a day. It was great to support a local business and we would not hesitate to recommend them to others.

I have been visited by a Gair engineer to work out why two of my radiators did not heat up and discovered the pump was not functioning properly. Two days later a new pump was fitted and the house appears to be warmer than I ever remember. Gair are first class.

Gair have just replaced our central heating boiler and radiators. From survey to finished installation the job went well. The surveyor and engineers were friendly and polite, they were considerate of our home and how the new piping to the new radiators would look. my request to not have too much disturbance and redecorating to do afterwards was also met. They were tidy workers and kept me informed of what they were doing and why. The complete installation took one and a half days. I am very happy with the installation and their workmanship. The company also offered interest free credit for this work.

Two engineers, Zain and Max, turned up on time to replace my seven radiators. They worked efficiently and unobtrusively, whilst keeping me informed as to progress and the work was completed within around six hours. They also tidied and cleaned before they left and removed the old radiators.

Sam worked very hard to replace our boiler's cylinder. He did the job itself neatly and cleaned up thoroughly, and explained things clearly. Excellent.

The engineers were courteous and respectful of our home, and no mess made or left behind highly recommended .

Matt came promptly and soon sorted my problem. Very efficient and pleasant worker.
