Very pleased - product, service and value

I ordered despite negative reviews due to good value.

Very pleased with quality of 1000x Bluebells in the Green. Received well packaged and healthy late February 2026, these were sold as lifted prior to flowering (which was unusual, I thought usually lifted after). However now in April they are flowering and doing well.

I think these were probably such good value @£219 inc delivery because they’re young bulbs. So although plants are small in this first year, they are doing well and will establish better and better.

Happy with ordering process, quick and well packaged delivery, health of bulbs and now quality of flowers.

Will order again.

Excellent, helpful service and product

I ordered many types of bulbs ‘in the green’. Whilst they took a little longer to arrive than expected, when I enquired on their expected dispatch date I received a same day, helpful response which was accurate.

The bulbs arrived well packaged and in excellent condition. I would not hesitate to recommend.

Snowdrops Don't grow.

They sold me 50 snowdrops for my birthday last year in March. I planted all 50 in my grass. Not one has grown. Nothing, Nada, Zilch.
I contacted the company and they basically said it was my fault.
They are now saying they will send me 50 more as a gesture of goodwill as long as I remove this review!!!!
They have now refunded me in full. Thank you.

They are now saying I have defamed them. I can supply the emails if required and the order number.

Dear Sir, the snowdrops were supplied "in the green" as living, viable plants last year. You did not raise any concerns with them at the time of receipt so must have been happy with the quality and standard we supply. As per my emails I have been trying to ascertain as to why they didn't come back this year and the most likely reason is that you had mowed the lawn in April removing the leaves of the snowdrops before they could die back naturally and replenish their bulbs with nutrients. They would also have had to compete with the grass and planting these larger size snowdrops only 1 inch deep could allow them to dry out in the heat of the summer.

As my offer of replacements has been turned down I have refunded the order in full.

Bulbs arrived quickly, in good condition. Replied to my email within an hour of me sending in a query (I wanted to change my order). I'd use them again.

Good Afternoon, Please see your email for our reply. The spring bulbs you have ordered are available in autumn only I'm afraid. At this time of year they are available to purchase but as a pre-order only. The "autumn planting bulbs" category does have a section to explain the delivery times. Sorry if you have missed this, please let me know if you would like to wait or have a refund?

Eight days on. No product. Company does not list phone number or email address. Avoid.

Updated 23:18 22/05/23 In response to your reply - the status on the website was that the Nemaslug would be back in stock on 13th May - not the end of May as you suggest. Hence I placed the order on 14th May. I have logged into my account and there is no information on there about this order at all - so please verify what you are referring to on my account about my order because there is nothing on there whatsoever. Ordered Nemaslug from this company 8 days ago. No product delivered and no phone number or email address on their website to contact them. Having read the reviews on TrustPilot I now feel that I have been conned. Would not recommend this 'company'.

The nemaslug was showing as out of stock and for pre-order only on our website for delivery late May. It is now in stock and the order has been processed. If you login to your account you will see that the order was processed for dispatch this week.

Excellent customer service

I have had an excellent service from this company both this year and last year.
They respond to queries very quickly which is so rare these days.
Quality of products very good.
Will definitely use them next year

I ordered Paperwhite Narcissi at the end of November, expecting delivery before Christmas. I tried emailing with no response but have now been told that the order was for delivery Sept. 2023 I have had a full refund.

Rubbish Customer Service

Thank you for your response, it still doesn't explain the lack of response to my 3 emails querying delivery. I do want the bulbs I just want to know when to expect them as it says nothing about delivery on my order note and I am not a gardener so I do not know when they should be ready to be delivered.

I ordered some wild garlic bulbs end of May 2021 and have still not received them. Not being a gardener I was unsure of when I should get them, so I emailed Garden Supply Direct 3 times to ask and received nothing from them! The money was taken as soon as the order was placed even though it claims they do not take money until despatch of items and I am still none the wiser. No communication on their part and no phone number to ring, just an email, which seems useless or an address to write to them. I highly suggest this company goes on a course to improve customer service skills as at the minute it is none existent.

A pre-order note should have been shown as you selected the quantity on the wild garlic, showing they were a pre-order and not a stock item. The autumn planting category they are included in does go into detail as to when the bulbs will ship and when to plant them. We have the order on file, card payment has not been taken yet as they are not ready to send out. Please advise if you wish to proceed with the order.

I really don't know why your emails are not getting through to us. All mail boxes have been checked and verified as working normally.

SELECTED THIS COMPANY THOUGH GOOGLE. THIS COMPANY WAS DISOLVED MARCH 2020 AND STILL ADVERTISES ON GOOGLE - I TRIED TO CONTACT THEM RE MY ORDER DATED 1 MAY 2021 ON A NUMBER OF OCCASSIONS WITH NO SUCCESS THEN CHECKED WITH COMPANIES HOUSE!
CREDIT CARD CO TRYING TO RECOVER PAYMENT BUT I DON'T EXPECT SUCCESS

Still waiting for my order paid for on the 12th March which Garden supply said would be with me the week of the 12th April after my first trust pilot review. Very misleading website, beginning to wonder if this company is a scam.

why was my order cancelled?because I did not cancel it, why did you not contact me?
I would have not purchased the other item if i had known I did not want to pay carriage of £3.99 for such a small item.

Good Afternoon,
We received an order from you in May 2020 however the wild garlic was cancelled from this order back in September 2020? You have not been charged for the wild garlic.
If you would like to place another order for the wild garlic i will cancel the carriage charge on this. Not sure why you cannot contact us through usual email? Can you please try to reply to the original order confirmation email received.
I have sent en email:-I’m not sure what the email issue is as we are still receiving emails from others. If you can place the order through our website I can then remove the carriage fee and send the bulbs out.

Rubbish customer service - DON'T USE

As with the previous reviewer. Have chased TWICE for a delivery date for my snowdrops in the green but no response and they have no contact telephone! They have rapidly taken the money however! If they do not arrive we shall proceed with a legal money claim on them. DO NOT USE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES

We are working through our orders for snowdrops in the green. We dispatch the snowdrops in the green right into May. Lifting these fresh for packing has been slow work this year due to the restrictions in place. The snowdrops are currently in great condition for lifting and transplanting in the green and will be for several weeks. Your order will be fulfilled.

I have emailed several times to establish the status of my order for Snowdrops "in the green" and wild garlic

I have heard nothing and now the Snowdrops are dying off and will not be "in the green" so I would like to cancel my order and get a refund.
But how do I do this?
This is not a professional garden supply company so I would advise people not to use them.

Sorry but we have not received any emails from you, have you replied to the order confirmation email that was sent? The snowdrops do differ in growth stage up and down the country. The ones we are sending at the moment are in full flower and will be for a few more weeks. The wild garlic is just coming into leaf. Your order was dispatched earlier this week and will be with you today/tomorrow.

Still Waiting

My whole order is marked as dispatched and the payment has been taken however I have only received one item through the post Nemeslug slug killer. I am still waiting for all the plants, some in the green but not all. I have emailed twice and had no response. No telephone number and the contact arrangement provided does not work. I am very disappointed and so far, out of pocket. My next step will be to contact my credit card company.

I have already sent you two emails with those details. May I suggest you give me an email address to which you will respond. I have also given you (through Trustpilot) extra contact details for me but you haven't got in touch...so I am still waiting to find out why the money has been taken and why my order is marked as dispatched when the plants are still in the ground. Please respond.

The bulbs in the green are dispatched throughout spring right up until May. As soon as the plants are ready to send the order will be dispatched. If you would like us to look into your order please email quoting your order reference or delivery postcode.

Just awaiting the wood anemone which were a pre-order for March. They will be lifted this week so the rest of the order can go out.

Ordered snowdrop bulbs in May

Ordered snowdrop bulbs in May - never received and no response to any emails, until a PayPal dispute was raised and then it was a ‘why are you raising a dispute?’. Still no bulbs. My advice would be to buy elsewhere.

You had ordered snowdrop bulbs IN THE GREEN (supplied as growing plants) which can only be supplied January through to March/April as per our website. Payment had not been taken as the order was not ready to leave us, you had paid with a CARD not PAYPAL! Not sure who you have been trying to contact as no emails received and certainly no paypal dispute??? We have cancelled the order.

Terrible customer service

I ordered 500 snow drop bulbs as well as 500 bluebell bulbs in late October.Whilst I have received the bluebell bulbs I have not received any snow drop bulbs despite 4 e mails sent ( there are no phone contact details).No response received to anything and my last e mail said I would refer to trading standards. They were very quick to take my money when I ordered.Terrible service

The snowdrops were marked out of stock at the time of purchase with the next available opportunity to send out being 14/02/21. We had the snowdrops on back order ready to send out in February. We have not received any communication from you. Please use the reply function from the order confirmation we had sent out to ensure your emails are received.
