I ordered a GFW limited piece of furniture online from 2 separate retailers, the item was out of stock on both occasions!

I had to then directly follow up with the retailer to find out if the item is in stock and when it is due to arrive. It was infact out of stock!

They asked to keep hold of my money until 2025 when the item was in stock. The cheek!

Terrible company. Delivery was late. Product is useless, flimsy and does not go together well. It was scuffed and scratched and pieces made of plastic broke while putting them together.

The company will not respond to me and despite other reviews stating they have spoken to them directly, I would love to know how as there are no details on their website. I can only assume these are fake reviews.

I’m now £250 down with 2 units that cannot be used and are taking up space in my hallway while I TRY to find a way to contact this useless company!

EDIT - I finally received a response. They have requested I dismantle the unit and place it back in its original packaging for collection.
I don’t have the time nor the willingness to do this, so the battle continues.

I wish I had read these reviews before I purchased. Lesson learned!!

Absolutely Awful
I purchased a 4ft Ottoman bed and a 4ft Orthopedic mattress medium to firm supplied by this company but purchased via Debenhams. The Matterss came rolled up so I had to open it to allow it to rise once given time to rise I checked it and the mattress was soft! I contacted Debenhams who have agreed for the company to collect subject to £30 being deducted from my refund due to me opening the product! Steer clear of purchasing substandard beds/mattresses from this company. They deliver me a soft mattress when I ordered an Orthopedic Mattress then charge me for their error. Omg don't get me started on the Delivery service either that was even worse 😪

Where do I start. 100% avoid. I have ordered 2 single white beds only to receive white beds but grey headboards made out fabric rather than leather. Cusumer service responded days later and sent one replacement instead of 2 which was damaged aswell. I've reported back to them and they promised to send replacement. Week later contacted GFW with complain and they finally dispatched replacement with scheduled delivery in 7 days. This is unacceptable. GFW is a joke and their customer service is the worst I've experienced. Can Coment on quality yet but I'm praying it is going to be good. This is taking one and a half month and still no beds to sleep on

I purchased 3 beds via littlewoods in the last few months , the last being the florance ottoman bed that arrived yesterday .
The first 2 beds , a wood one turned out to be MDF , and the metal platform bed was just a pile of junk .
They were both returned .
Yesterday the Florance ottoman bed arrived , both boxes had holes in them .
On opening the 1st box with the headboard & the 2 bottom panels for the ottoman it was obviously the case that this bed was garbage also , the headboard was soft and wobbly and the sponge was cheap tack that wasn't worth the money and i doubt it would last a month ? The 2 panels were cheap tack also and the support bar was dinted on 1 end. This is due for collection on the 4th of jan 2024 .
Cheap tacky chinese made tat sold for many times what the junk is worth , nothing but grief ordering then having to arrange a return ..
You don't get what you pay for and the 3 beds i choose are in my opinion garbage .
I will never buy anything else that has this manafacturer's name on it .

We have traded with GFW limited since they started business in 2009, and they continue to be our best supplier by far.... GFW have great quality products at the best prices in the trade... sales support is fantastic and the aftersales team are the best in the industry... every department treat you like a valued customer and always help us with last minute orders... even their Truck drivers go out of their way to help with a smooth and quick delivery. They understand their customers needs & the demands of the market place we trade in. They always adapt their approach to meet with customers demands.. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK.

I would like to recommend highly GFW for their excellent level of customer service. I was faced with a problem of my own making, and their Customer Experience department dealt with it, without cost, despite being under no obligation to do so. My thanks to Amanda and James for their personal intervention.
In addition, we were very happy with the quality of product we purchased, which was a grey 3+2 drawer Kendal unit.

Placed my order through argos. Then made the mistake of reading the reviews. This left me very nervous about my purchase. However, i need not have worried at all. I was kept informed of my order and when it was going to be delivered from start to finish by the company. The packages arrived on time, and very well packaged. No parts missing and after assembly i was very pleased with my product. All i will say is people will always review to leave a negative, but very rarely leave a positive. Fantastic service, will definitely recommend to others.

Gfw are a wholesale furniture manufacturer and do not sell directly to the public. I bought an item of their Canyon oak range through an on-line retailer. There was a piece missing from the package (annoying yes, but these things happen). I emailed Gfw directly rather than going back to the retailer I bought it from. Within an hour, I had an email from Jo asking for details of when & where etc I ordered the item. I replied and within another hour I had another email from Jo reminding me that I should normally take up the matter with the retailer (as per consumer protection legislation), but that she had already dispatched the missing item to my home address. 5++ stars for aftersales customer service.

Terrible company, terrible policies, refused to deliver item to my safe place despite signing an agreement that I would take responsibility, in this age of covid, I don’t think it’s very sensible policy, and certainly not customer service friendly.

Had some great furniture packages although my toddler pulled off all the screw cap stickers. I sent a request to have some spares. Within 24 hours I had a response and they have posted me some. I think this a great example of customer service well done Joel Gaskill

Bought one of their Grey Regal Ottoman via Bedworld. Its’ not grey at all - instead brown / beige and this was apparently fine & within the terms & conditions ("shades may vary" - note shades & not different colours entirely! Shameful behaviour from both companies !!! AVOID

Liars and poor, dealt with Sue and she screamed and shouted at me and the company condoned her behaviour. Shameful. Just wanted my bed sorting and she couldn't be bothered to help.
