Very user friendly
I had never used GiftRound before, but I found it extremely easy to use with straightforward instructions and Customer Services responded very quickly to a query I had. Would definitely recommend and use again without hesitation.

It's the best Collection idea
It's the best idea. I have used this for the first time and what a treat - I didn't have to collect all that cash and keep a note of who gave what and also that I don't have to go to the bank to put the collection in. Love the fact that you can collect all the messages and at to your moonpig card. Happy me :)

Easy and effective
Found it tricky working out how to get back into my giftround collection after it had closed to generate the pdf of messages and voucher.
Frustrated that the system wouldn't acknowledge and use the apostrophe needed for the collection's name.
Would have been nice to be able to amend some of the messages after submission, having belatedly discovered the person the collection was for didn't want any references to retiring.
Otherwise, this was really easy and effective - with a voucher being able to be used in lots of different places a fantastic option!

Sorry to hear you found it tricky to access your collection after closing. We do have a help page that walks through this step-by-step but I've passed this feedback to our design team.
Thanks also for flagging the apostrophe issue our team has now fixed this.
On editing messages, contributors can update their own comments if needed, as organisers often prefer not to edit on others’ behalf.

fabulous service
fabulous service - easy to set up and share across a workforce that cover numerous regions (where signing a physical card wouldn't be possible). easy to then close the collection and print off all comments and pictures, to create a lovely memento and also easy to print a list of gift cards they can purchase with the collection amount - highly recommend especially for big companies where its tricky to organise collections sometimes -this is fantastic!

Unfortunately, companies get leavers and with that, collections! I didn't want to use my bank account and no one seems to use envelopes for coins anymore altho that would be perfect coz no one can afford to keep putting £5, let's be honest!
With this company, you can hide the amount people put in to:
A - encourage people into donating, however small the donation is.
B - donations can be anonymous
People can place notes and messages as well as photos.
At the end of the collection, the admin can print the messages into a booklet type for printing and also send the giftcard for use with a lot of online shops.
Shame it's not cash but the gift card is as good as.

And while it’s not cash, that’s actually quite intentional. We believe FlexCards often beat bank transfers because they’re far more likely to be used as a treat rather than quietly absorbed into everyday bills or essentials.
Most importantly, as you mention, keeping everything as a FlexCard allows us to stay genuinely free from start to finish. No fees, no deductions, no awkward extras.

Decent & to be fair it is all well run but...
To be fair it is all well run. Creates something presentable to the gift receiver.
Either it wasn't clear or I didn't read that I could only buy a gift card/s with the proceeds.
Then trying to redeem a card I can only purchase in multiples of 50/100...meaning I have £20 in limbo.
Probably wouldn't use again

Just to clarify for future readers: GiftRound collections are always redeemed as our FlexCard (rather than bank transfer), which can be swapped with 100+ retailers in the UK. This choice allows us to keep GiftRound genuinely free from start to finish: no fees, no deductions and no “unlock to send” charges.
FlexCards are valid for 12 months, so no funds are lost or in limbo and you can choose from 100+ brand to spend the remaining balance. Sadly Airbnb is an exception, which currently only supports £50 increments via our provider, though we’re actively working to improve this.
Our small team is always happy to help including talking things through over the phone so please don’t hesitate to reach out if we can support you.
