GO Mammoth Avis 

The good:
- Was able to join a team of other randomers that GoMammoth had pulled together, just like they advertise
- Refs have been decent

The bad:
- They told us they would let us know if they'd found us a team, but none of us were told and found out ourselves by chance
- Didn't send us any details and didn't respond when I reached out to ask

In short, happy I got to play, but disappointed at the lack of customer service given the price (about £9 a game)

Go Mammoth is fab. I've played in a netball league for years, they are really well organised and always fun.

Some constructive criticism as someone who has bought the individual £80 netball Swiss Cottage Station 9 week program to start on the 20th of May. When you are going to push your starting session by a week or in this case by 2 weeks it is very important that you send not just an email at 9:30am ON THE DAY but also send an automated text at least the day before. As someone who is a very busy person I hate my time being wasted which is what happened today when I arrived to UCL Academy for the class at 6:30 and the doors were locked. Luckily the security guard opened the door to inform me they were closed. When I proceeded to tell him about the program he said that it happened ALL THE TIME where people were left outside. This does not leave a good first impression and honestly not only demotivates me about the whole program but leaves a lack of trust. When calling the Go Mammoth help line to let them know what had happened the lady on the phone was not very understanding or nice. As someone who had to travel and cleared out my schedule for this because I am a netball enthusiast I was really disappointed and dissatisfied. I hope that this never happens to anyone else. I will make sure to always call before to check if it’s not cancelled on the day as they are having an unreliable streak right now.

Great 5-a-side setup - played with friends and ended up making some new ones too. The games are competitive but still fun and friendly. Just signed up for my second season. Refs are friendly and helpful and the facilities are really good. Highly recommend!

I am playing Netball in a beginners league in London. I played one season so far.
Everything is well organised and it is amazing that you can start as a Single Player as well. The price is fair.

I've been playing basketball through GO Mammoth on & off for a few years now, it's always been spot on in terms of customer support, organisation etc

I've been playing netball at Clifton High in Bristol on Wednesday evenings for the past seven months, and I absolutely love it — it's genuinely the highlight of my week. The atmosphere is friendly and inclusive, with a great mix of skill levels and zero judgement. The umpires are fair, approachable, and happy to offer tips or explain rules when needed, which makes it a great environment for learning and improving. This is hands down one of the best ways to meet new people and enjoy some fun, active time each week.

I heard about GO Mammoth from a friend, and I wasn’t too expectant at the beginning. Then, my first day was about to start, I went there and met new people, everyone had sportsmanship, everyone was a friend and I was able to meet what I was looking for!! I enjoyed it more than I was expecting!!! It changed my routine in an extremely exciting way!

Amazing league ran in elephant and castle for basketball. Fun, competitive, well organized.

I've been playing at the GoMammoth basketball rec league for nearly 2 years. There is a good level of competition, refereeing standards are decent and generally there is a nice community vibe. Our league gets filled up so there are hardly any 'no-shows' or forfeits. Like any recreational sports league, nothing is perfect and there are a few things that could be improved however from my experience the GoMammoth team seems understanding and open to suggestions from it's players.

There is absolutely no organisation or admin present for this league. The management of these sports teams are chaotic at best. I will not be returning.

Great communication from the team. League filled up, obviously nothing is perfect but the leagues are well organized and good price for what you are getting. Decent basketball level as well

It’s honestly great to be able to play. Of course there are sometimes some small things that could be improved, but in general I truly appreciate the passion for basketball of everyone involved

so so bad! I've played football and rounders leagues through them this year and organisation is all over the place and then the customer service to sort stuff out is appalling, it's so frustrating!

Refs late, changes of venues to sub-par pitches, ref turned up with no rounders equipment one week...imagine. At football the refs didn't show up, sometimes didn't bring bibs and brought size 4 footballs.

Then when I emailed asking someone to urgently sort stuff out, they didn't reply to me but sent an email asking us to pay for the upcoming season to register early hahaha.

Honestly wouldn't reccomend. I know powerleague do good social sports, go for them instead.

No reason not to trust it. Signed up for three leagues.

I have been attending the mixed rounders games for a couple of years and have always had fun. There's a great atmosphere, fantastic way to unwind after work!

Our team signed up to Rounders and we had an incredible time, the event was very well organised! We are looking forward to next week!

GM Volleyball league is great! Umpired expertly and well organised. Highly recommend

Recently signed up for netball in london and the organization of the league has been totally chaotic; been moved into different teams 3 times because of lack of players, league was pushed back and now the last few games has been cancelled due to venue schedule. Negative experience for me but I know others have used it and had a great time so think it's not a universal experience but definitely shared by several I've met. I think they are trying to offer too many options rather than being realistic with what's possible. I love the premise and the umpires and other players are lovely, but the organisation is chaotic.
