jar leaked and went mouldy, whilst unopened
I bought a jar of 'Superkraut: Supergreens with Spirulina' in a local shop just before Christmas. On the way home the jar leaked liquid. I checked the jar and it still seemed to be unopened. I then put it in the fridge. The label on the top indicated it was good until May. I opened the jar (properly, I had to break the seal) this week to discover its contents were mouldy and rotten. Clearly something is wrong in the bottling process. I will be asking my local shop not to stock this anymore. That was £6.50 wasted.
I appreciate the response from the company - not sure how to respond online (no link? button?) for them to put it right

I'm sorry you've had this experience and I've requested some more information from Trustpilot so I can get in touch with you directly and put this right.
Unfortunately we don’t have control over how the product is stored once it leaves us and goes to wholesalers and then on to the retailers. There’s a chance its not been stored correctly that’s why we're seeing this anomaly. It would be helpful to have images to see what’s happened with this jar. If you have anything please send it on and we can investigate.
As for the leakage, it’s common with live fermented products—gasses build up during fermentation, which can force liquid out. We’ve chosen not to vacuum seal our jars, as the gasses cause the lids to pop off if sealed too tightly and in extreme cased cause jars to smash. We provide this info on our website so customers know what to expect when buying a live product, so while the leakage isn’t ideal we do expect it from time to time, especially if its a particularly lively batch of sauerkraut!
I'll wait to hear from you and I'll arrange a replacement once you've been in touch.

I had waited far too long to renew my previous purchases of this wonderful product due to illness and health issues? I am so delighted to have Good Nude Food back in my food cupboard as its flavours and benefits have been sorely missed!! I now have my two favourites to munch on whenever the mood takes me - the Turmeric and Ginger and the stunning Red Hot Firekraut!! Absolutely outstanding, and the benefit to your gut from this naturally fermented product cannot be overstated in my view?!! You will not regret buying some of this awesome Sauerkraut- go get it!!!

I bought this superkraut and loved the taste and health benefit. Couldn't remember where I purchased it. Reviews noted delivery issues on online purchases. However I ordered as Royal mail deliver. Very rapid response and my 3 jars arrived within 2 days intact and we are enjoying it again.

Product is as good as ever, but.....
Product is as good as ever. New, more eco friendly packaging gets a thumbs up. And now the less positive side: Unfortunately the same problems perpetuate despite yet another change of courier. Unless there is some change in procedures so that staff doing the packaging label the parcel on the outside with a 'this way up' label and 'fragile glass', the situation will never improve.
There is no way the couriers can possibly know what is inside without someone actually passing on this crucial information. Our postie was a bit grossed out that he ended up with saurkraut juice spread over the inside of his van- he actually thought I had bought some super stinky cheese!
Obviously the parcel had gone upside down at some point, and because a couple of lids had not been tightened properly, the contents had gone everywhere.
I feel quite annoyed about this, as I have given this feedback more than once.
So I am having a break for now, as I have quite a bit to use up. Still trying to decide whether to come back.

Thanks for your support and sticking with us throughout the challenges we faced in 2024. We’re glad you like the new eco-friendly packaging and that the product is still meeting your expectations.
I understand your concerns about packaging, we tried using fragile labels however our logistics reported an increase in damages when using these labels, so they no longer apply them but we are looking at 'this way up' labels and are working on this with our new logics group. Hopefully we can find an agreeable solution that will prevent issues like this in future.
If you’ve experienced any damages or need replacements, please reach out and I'll sort it out right away. I truly hope you’ll consider coming back when you’re ready, and we’ll do everything we can to ensure your next order is a better experience.

Delivery problems, no communication
Do not buy from this company, they take your money and do not deliver, I have sent numerous emails, Facebook and Instagram messages and get no reply. I had an email the day after purchasing to say products were on their way , overnight delivery, with tracking information, when I contacted the delivery company, they knew nothing and did not have the tracking number I was given in the system , it had never been sent out and that I should contact good nude food to find out why they had falsely claimed the items had been sent out. The trouble is there is no phone number and they do not reply to any other form of communication. Save your money , do not use this company. Updated review, I received the jars sometime during Christmas week and have now received correspondence from the company with an explanation of why the jars were late and the lack of communication. The jars were all delicious as expected as I have bought from this company in the past, I hope with the new delivery company in place this will not happen again to anyone else.

I'm really disappointed in the experience you've had and its not what we want for our customers. I'd really appreciate if you were to get in touch with some details so I can put this right, I personally monitor the mailbox but it seems I may have missed your message.
We had a very tough year in 2024 and I’d like to explain a bit about the challenges we faced with our previous supplier. Unfortunately, we encountered some serious issues with them, including delibrate improper packing that led to damaged products during transit, ongoing billing for shipping that wasn't being carried out. It also became clear that orders were being packed incorrectly on purpose which directly affected our customers experiences. We ultimately made the serious decision to move to a new supplier to ensure this never happens again and spent Decemeber getting set up in new facilties which took over for us from on 20th December.
Please get back to me on sales@goodnudefood.com so I can get this sorted out and hopefully help start making ammends from the previous issues.
