GO Outdoors - Altrincham (Express) Avis

I loved my visit to GO Outdoors Altrincham this afternoon the staff were very knowledgeable and helpful. I bought a camping stove in readiness for a possible energy crisis. Very well priced and a lot cheaper than the ones I looked at on Amazon. Chris was very knowledgeable and it was good to see the stove and get an explanation of how it all worked and the fuel I needed.I bought a lovely hat for my gf they have some amazing products I will be back very soon!

Chris T was the absolute best! Super knowledgeable man, recommended the right shoes, Some good walks to try out and using his own experience to do so. Emily was also fantastic. Walked out happy

I had a great experience at Go Outdoors thanks to Chris! He was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about camping and hiking equipment. He took the time to help me choose the right gear for my hike and even went through the map with me to show me the route I’d be taking. His advice, patience and expertise really made a difference and gave me more confidence for my trip. It’s clear he knows his stuff and genuinely cares about helping customers. Excellent customer service from Chris — a real credit to Go Outdoors. Thank you!

Great service from the staff. Very knowledgeable about their products which helped me plan 3xactly what I needed for a trip of a lifetime to Alaska. Thanks to Chris T , particularly on the shoes!

The staff in the Altrincham store went above and beyond to help me
They were lovely young ladies

Staff were very attentive and helpful. After explaining what kind of of coat I was after, Claire suggested a couple that fitted my ask and went to get them from the stockroom. Claire was very informative and knowledgeable about the products and also informed me about the berghaus repairs offers.

Chris T served me today and he was fantastic. Super helpful and great to deal with.

Claire is brillant and helpful in picking my son’s DoFE’s gears. The product assortment is great and you can also spend in competitive prices.

Great experience at Go Outdoors. The staff helped me find exactly what I needed, and it was a great price. They were friendly and took the time to engage with me, which is unusual in a lot of stores lately. I'd happily go back again.

Chris T was incredibly helpful to us when purchasing items for my son’s upcoming trek. Very grateful to him got his expertise. Managed to source most of what we needed from there and at a reasonable price. Thank you!

Thanks to Chris and Claire for their advice and great customer service when I came into store today. With my son doing his D of E expeditions and not being an outdoor adventurer myself I needed to speak to someone who knew what they were talking about and offering so many tips and advice. You don’t always get that at the bigger stores and certainly not online. Thanks so much!!

Went into the store to discuss issues I had with some boots. There was no quibbling and the advice on the purchase of another pair was excellent. Left the shop with the best fitting boots I have ever had after the advice given by Chris.Definitely my go to store now.

Claire was so helpful & kind re my purchase of 2 OEX chairs & matching table. She demonstrated their functionality, reserved them for me for a few days and made the final transaction a pleasure, thank you Claire. 🎪🏕️

This shop is as asset to Altrincham. A really friendly store with a good level of stock. The staff are really welcoming and really know their stuff about the different clothing and equipment. I was served by Claire who was really helpful in getting the right clothing for my next hike sorted.

Friendly, knowledgeable & helpful staff who go the extra mile to make sure I left with the right walking shoes.
Claire especially stands out for great customer service. Well done Go Outdoors!

Bought some tent pegs today, served by a lady called Ri
Very friendly and chatty, although I only spent £3 made me feel valued. Thank you

Katie was super helpful and knowledgeable in helping me choose the right walking boots for my holiday, taking into account the terrain and the kind of soles needed.

Bought a couple of travel pieces today. Really friendly staff. Iv bought many camp and hiking goods from this store for our family and great prices too.

I went into the Altrincham store looking for a shorter length waterproof jacket and was served by Claire, she was very knowledgeable and found exactly what I was looking for. Claire then told me about the aftercare from the manufacturer- all in all very pleased with service, will buy from here again for sure
