We found all the equipment we needed for a DofE expedition. Adam gave us excellent advice on the items we were not confident about what we needed. Excellent experience.

Excellent customer service
We visited the store 3 times recently, and the customer service was excellent every time. We were initially served by Ferne who kindly answered our many questions. We were then assisted in our decision to replace a faulty tent with another by Craig when we returned the following day. He kindly took the time to advise us on which tent would best suit our needs, and answered many other questions we had about other products. As a result we ended up buying many items to set us up for camping.

Great staff and customer service
Great customer service! Regularly visit this GO outdoors and the staff are always so welcoming and helpful. The store always has what I need from waterproofs to new walking boots and fishing gear.

This was my fist time shopping with GO…
This was my fist time shopping with GO and I was a little hesitant with the correct climbing gear to buy but I was instantly greeted as I arrived through the door and Craig helped me pick out the best harness, talked through the advantages of the membership card and Charlotte my cashier was fantastic, attentive and patient with me. I had a great shopping experience and all the staff seemed content and happy to be working there. The energy is good here. Will definitely be back for some more shopping now I have the membership card!

I would love to be able to give them 5…
I would love to be able to give them 5 stars because they are a great outdoors store. However, if I’d known they used Royal Mail to deliver online orders I wouldn’t have placed an online order for delivery. RM in my area is shocking and I actively avoid using them as they proved on this order once again that they cannot deliver orders on time. I will continue to use their stores but it’s a shame I’m limited to that as I do most shopping online for outdoor gear and may use other places now.

Tried to take unwanted top back to store and was told had to send back!!!
