Extra low prices, but sadly because it was a closing down sale. We like a lot of others will miss the Colchester store and the great helpful staff especially the guy on the footwear section.

Great service from Mark who helped our family select hiking boots and shoes. He was informative and knowledgeable. Great selection of adult shoes and boots to choose from but a limited range for children.

Friendly and helpful
Visited at a quiet time and needed help with a jacket that was tied through a security system. Mike was super helpful and friendly, without giving it the full on sales pitch, which I appreciated. Very knowledgeable about the different brands and technical features. Recommend.

Some good, some not so good
All good apart from the almost being overcharged at the till. Asked the cashier to check the total and he confirmed the amount was correct - it wasn't. Eventually had to ask another (more pro-active) member of staff to re-check, and this time he confirmed the error, and ensured I paid the correct amount.

Good price for a good jacket.
Able to try on jackets in store to find the style and size I liked most. Was able to renew my Go Outdoors membership at checkout to get the members' price for my chosen jacket and also have a code for a further 15% reduction.
Staff member at checkout was friendly and helpful.
