Greats advice on footwear
Went into Huddersfield Go Outdoors today looking for a new pair of walking boots. Was attended to by Kimberley and Mia.
I was made to feel like a valued customer by both members of staff, and Kimberly in particular spent a long time ensuring I had the correct shoe and fit, and also advised on insoles.

Great experience in store
Great experience in store. Stuart and Jacob were extremely helpful. They went above and beyond to assist us with the purchase of a gas bbq. They demonstrated which type of gas and which regulator we needed. Thank you guys. Rebecca on the till was lovely too.

Confused
Confused, store offers student discount, showed the check out my student Unicard membership and still nothing on my receipt?
Did the checkout just not apply it?
Didn’t question in store, didn’t look at receipt properly until home.
Be nice to know for next time, disappointing though if it was an error at checkout cost me over £10 in discount 🙁

I was served by Kimberley at the Huddersfield store at Leeds Road retail park. I was looking for a good pair of foot wear to do the 40 mile walk, from Keswick to Barrow, in the Lake District in Cumbria. After being very patient and informative, she managed to get me a pair of hocker style trainers. They did the job for me. They were very comfortable, and I managed to complete the walk in just over 10 hours.
