I'd like to praise Sarah in Go Outdoors, Keswick.
I'd like to praise Sarah. I dropped in to the Keswick shop because I've been looking at back packs for a trip to Nepal but I didn't want anything enormous/ top loading as I'm probably going to take a suitcase as well. I found a back pack that I thought would be perfect. Sarah let me try it on, explained the best order to fasten the straps, showed me how it worked because it's 2 back packs zipped together and put a fairly heavy tent in it so I could feel what it was like with some weight in it. This may be a standard outdoor equipment experience but to me it was exactly what I needed at a level I could understand.

Great store layout and choice of great brands both in clothes and footwear. We were served by Sarah who couldn’t have been more friendly and chatty, as well as sharing how we could save more money on the goods we were buying. Will definitely return the next time we are in Keswick,

Pricing confusion!!
Bought some sunglasses advertised at both £30/£15 but to buy them at £15, I would have to sign up to the membership club that costs £5 for 12-months - so not impressed with the pricing in-store, really skating around the edge of the consumer rights act.

Really attentive and helpful staff…
Really attentive and helpful staff without being creepily over the top.
Specifically helped by Scott who found me an additional discount with Camping and Caravaning Club that I didn’t know about. Thank you Scott, I am very happy with my purchase of a summer, lightweight Colombia waterproof coat.
