James and Morgan where very knowledgeable and friendly with advice over tents, explained setting up, valves, extras available, helped carry it. Even helped with advice on roof bars and bags. If needing a tent Highly recommend going to speak to them.

I have awarded 5 stars because the staff are brilliant. They can not do enough for you, particularly young Jenny. She went out of her way to help an old man (me). Her knowledge and advice was invaluable, thank you Jenny for your time and dedication. Normally I dread the thought of shopping, today I left the store an extremely happy customer.

On visiting go outdoors Liverpool yesterday I was pleasantly surprised how easy it was to get a pair of walking boots with the great advice and help from Paul who is an expert in this field, there was no pressure to buy more expensive boots or cheaper ones just what was going to be right for my feet and the correct size ,Paul even showed me different ways to lace the boots for more comfort to which I had never even thought about ,in short if you need walking boots I would highly recommend a visit to this store Paul you are an asset to go outdoors thank you so much for your help and advice the boots have had there first outing this morning, and they are perfect the scarpa full gortex are fantastic with bone dry feet too .

I visited Go Outdoors, Liverpool, with my son for new boots so he was properly kitted out to climb Snowdon and walk along some long trails. He tried so many different styles but couldn’t find the right ones that either didn’t affect his ankles or were the wrong width etc. Thankfully I got talking to Paul who found the perfect boots, first time, for my son. His knowledge and customer care was first class👌 He took the time to chat about scenic trails, walks and climbs my son would enjoy, so we came out with not only the perfect footwear (and more), plus a list of walks my son can get to by public transport and enjoy with his mates. Thank you so much Paul for your patience and for inspiring my son to trek that little bit further.

Amazing guidance from Ken, he massively helped us out with camping equipment & a new road bike. Would highly recommend using this store & a huge thank you to Ken again for all his help.

I went to the store to buy a new ski jacket and saw one one the sale rail, Jenny kindly held it at the till while I looked at others when I returned she had cross checked the price online which meant I got it cheaper. As a result I ended up buying some ski pants and a few other items which Jenny also applied the 15% discount available online too. What a great employee, honest and going the extra mile and in the end despite the savings I actually spent a lot more in store than I’d planned too. Great experience great member of staff.

Ryan properly squared me away. I went in to get a sleeping bag and fleece that weren't in stock. Ryan told me they were actually in a pallet that haven't been unloaded yet but we're doing it the next day. He took my number down and offered to leave them to the side one he'd unloaded them. Went in the next day to collect and pay.

He totally went out his way to help me out so just want to shout him out for going above and beyond.

Always lovely helpful staff and service

Came in just before store closing to look for a roof box and roof bars with zero idea of what I needed. We sought advice from Paul and he was able to talk us through the product finder tool. Paul advised us of the quality differences in the range of products helping us choose the most appropriate bars and roof box for us. He then went above and beyond beyond and talked us through installation. Really positive shopping experience.
