GO Outdoors - Peterborough Avis 

I spent 45minutes in the store , it’s just 5mins away from my home and I regret I never visited the store from last 10years.

I would like to Thabk Luke(sales man) especially, for a beginner like me to outdoor camping he took all the time and answered and clarified all my queries.

I have been to the store twice in the last few days to collect parcels…staff were friendly and helpful including getting the correct size when I returned a pair of shoes that were the wrong size

Needed two inner tubes fitted. Quick and excellent service. Also had a problem registering guarantee but staff member Danny did it for me on my mobile.

Salesperson at the shoe/boot section was Laura Ng - she did a great job of advising and fining the right walking shoe for me. And she liked my dog!

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff member Matt. Very patient and not pushy at all. Helpful with discounts available. Good range of sport gear.

I visited the Peterborough store as a very unhappy and frustrated GoOutdoors customer, having experienced an absolutely awful customer support department.
I left the store happy and happy to use Go Outdoors again. That is 100% down to the brilliant Megan, who totally understands how customer service should work and is an asset to Go Outdoors. As result my issue was resolved quickly and efficiently and I would highly recommend GoOutdoors Peterborough. Just never use the on line customer support service.

I am a repeat customer at your Peterborough store because each time I go there I get excellent service from your experienced knowledgeable and helpful staff. Buying boots is tricky but Jackie makes it easy and I have bought 3 pairs of boots from her over the last 8 years.

With half an hour before closing we needed 3 pairs of walking shoes before or holiday the following day. Dave was extremely helpful and patient, gave expert advice and made sure we left with the perfect shoes for our holiday. Excellent service!

We visited the store looking for a specific barbecue, we were assisted by Megan on the ground floor who directed us to Josh on the upper floor where Josh was extremely helpful and knowledgeable on what we needed.
The assistant on the till was also very polite and helpful.
A great store with great staff.

From ordering on the mobile website to picking up my items in store, it was so easy. Everything I wanted was available & I could pick up after work at my convenience. Staff in store were great. Just back from a wee camping jaunt with my kids & the bits I ordered were all good too.

Just bought 2 E Bikes from this Peterborough Store for
myself and my wife.
We were looked after buy two members of staff, 1st one being DAVE the bike man .
and the second being Matt the fishy bloke.

I initially spoke to a member of staff about the baby changing facilities, it turns out the staff member was the manager. She managed to help me find the changing facilities while simultaneously helping my partner with our airbeam pump requirements. Her customer service was brilliant, I couldn't fault our experience..we left having spent more money than we anticipated but feeling really good about it.

The Staff in Peterborough go outdoors are so lovely it makes you feel as if you’re on holiday 🎉 they smile and genuinely want to help you and nothing is to much trouble, they really care ,, it makes me want to go back and find something else to buy, it’s my favourite shop anyway

As always neat and tidy and easy to find everything needed.

I was served by Matt in the fishing department and he was brilliant. I had a good chat with him about the trip I had planned and he helped me out with exactly what I needed and even explained why that would be the best option when compared to the alternatives. Great customer service, lovely chap.

Danny was so helpful in helping me choose some kit for scout camp. He took the time to help me compare different items and explained the differences between them. Super helpful.
Josh was great too - sorting out the bill for me

The item I wanted was not in store, so I had to order online and collect in store. I received good service and there were helpful staff in store.

matt did an amazing job serving me in the fishing section he was very helpful and gave me a lot of knowledge about the items i brought

Excellent service. I ordered an item (swimming shorts ) online to collect at your store in Carlisle. On arriving home, I found they were too small. I phoned the store and was told that they could be returned to any Go Outdoors store in the country. I went back to the store and was informed by a sales assistant the the store could receive them but could not replace them as the store does not stock swimwear. She phoned the store in Perith, which I would be driving past the following day, ascertained that the had the same time in stock and would put a pair aside for me to collect. This was done. However, the size was again wrong (I have evidently grown since I last purchased a pair of swimming shorts!) I returned to the store the following day, explained the situation and asked if I could exchange them. This was done with the utmost courtesy and efficient attentiveness. I told all sales personnel who attended me, and I hereby inform the company, that I am full of admiration for Go Outdoors and for your personnel. All-surpassing excellence. I am a highly satisfied customer.
