GO Outdoors - Peterborough Avis 

We came in to Go Outdoors Peterborough to get the kit for the DofE expedition, and the service was outstanding from start to finish. A special thank you to Jackie (footwear), who was incredibly kind, attentive, and helpful throughout. She went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, making the whole visit smooth and enjoyable. Highly recommend.

We'd like to say a big thank you to Sue Gordon for her great help in sorting us out with a pair of walking poles for my husband. She provided us with all the necessary information about the range of poles available, how to use them and how to look after them. Thanks very much Sue. Would highly recommend customers seeking you out for your advice.

Great experience looking for a new coat. Came in with only a rough idea of what I needed, Laura helped me find the right coat for and was very friendly and knowledgeable. Young lad on the tills very helpful too, sorry didn’t catch your name! Thank you both, very happy with my orange Rab!

Had a brilliant experience at go outdoors Peterborough. Went in looking for some walking shoes and Laura took me through all the options including which brands and models had a wider fit and picked some shoes out for me to try. Ended up very happy with my purchase and Laura ran me through everything I needed to know. Brilliant staff, really very helpful in a way that wasn’t overbearing or salesman like.

Not only that she had a good technical understanding of my difficulties as I am disabled and needed a set of boots that fitted correctly with adaptations. She was great to talk to and she did not rush through this purchase. She was a great ambassador for go outdoors and I will be returning again. Great experience at GO Outdoors, Peterborough, it’s superbly located just off the motorway with really good parking (even for a car attached to a trailer) so it was an easy and convenient for us to grab a few bits.

We were looked after by Matt, who was friendly, knowledgeable and really helpful in making sure we had everything the boys needed for their first camping trip. He worked quickly as well, knowing we were in a rush, which we really appreciated. Brilliant service all round!

Dave at the Peterborough store was fantastic, couldn’t recommend him enough. We needed a lot of kit for our teenager’s trip and he was extremely knowledgeable, helpful and polite. He really took the time to explain the options and recommend the things we needed. Thank you, we will be back.

First time hiker - I can't recommend Jackie enough. I have large, wide feet and needed some walking boots for a trip in June 26. I'd been putting it off (not knowing what to expect) but Jackie answered all of my questions and had loads of suggestions for boots to try. She helped me find the perfect pair and I can't wait for my walking weekend. Thank you so much for a really positive experience.

Went into store with my son looking for some fishing bits, I’m clueless when it comes to fishing but Matt in the fishing area was such a great help, very keen to help and get you the best for what you need. Very polite/helpful staff member 🙂

Excellent service from a very knowledgeable member of staff (Tom), he took time to explain the merits of a range of hiking books and shared his experiences of walking the terrain which we, as novices, greatly appreciated.
