Brilliant system when I required a smaller size, none in stock but the lady sorted one in 2 days delivered into store,kept informed at regular intervals. Brilliant system.

Walking gear

Small shop bad customer service
Small shop, nothing really in store other than basic accessories and clothing, ie fleeces. One young person behind the till just stood there, no greeting just staring at me an chatting to a co worker a men dressed like a 14 year old with a man bag an shouted “am going get some food josh” I asked the young person.. (am not sure on there pronouns and don’t want to offend them) if they could point me in the direction of the mountain food, he blanked me, so I repeated my question an there reply was “somewhere on the wall over there” after this I just left I never felt so uncomfortable in my life. Other go outdoors are great but this one is honestly horrible to even walk in the door

I went in the shop for some walking shoes and a walking pole.the staff were very helpful. Came out with what I needed. Both items at very competitive prices. Staff friendly and knowledgebase.

Excellent service at Stafford
Immediately made to feel welcome without being pushy. Couldn't help me enough. Their products are very good quality and we've had various coats and boots from them. Also if you become a member there are excellent reductions in price. I have to mention Karen at Stafford as I had a few problems but she was so kind and helpful. Altogether a great place to shop

Great Store & Staff
I always get good service in the Stafford (& Trentham when there) & today wasn’t any different. The store was quite busy & Pete & Karen were friendly & helpful with my click & reserve order. Pete corrected the price to the offer price I had ordered at, so got a good brand for a good price at Go Outdoors.

The sales assistant was most helpful and made me feel like a valued customer which is rare these days. Very good selection of footwear available and I was able to purchase exactly what I required. Will certainly use this store again.
