GP Batteries Avis 12

Got one battery from this company. Fully charged and working. I recommend them.

I bought the GP Rechargable AA batteries along with the Charger that indicates the amount of battery remaining.

8 times out of 10 - the charger flashes that my batteries are "faulty"

On my Panasonic Eneloop and Ikea chargers every battery - from Fujitsu to Ikea to Eneloop to even GP - can charge without a problem.

The GP charger also feels cheap compared to the above mentioned brands.

The GP AA batteries themselves are minutely larger than the others, so it often gets stuck when put in vertically.

Not buying another GP product from here on/

CR2450 could not get battery out of plastic. Tried cutting, prying etc. It was if it was vacume packed in hard plastic. For a dive computer less handling the better. Centrally removed it and broke a finger nail in the process. Would never buy again

Brought small round ones and they started exploding. Small parts went everywhere with metal and the powder shooting around the room. We have two dogs and so dangerous for them! They had literally just been in the same room minutes before. We've had to put them outside in a secured container...will never buy this brand again!

The life of the aa batteries is short. I would expect a year from two in a thermostat but they just make it to 6 months. Also the aaa batteries register from 95% when new down to 70%.Not very encouraging. Won't be buying again.

I have now twice ordered from GP Batteries - the first time was just before Xmas when I had a crisis and needed a battery delivered immediately. GP Batteries went out of their way to make sure I received my order the very next day. Both times I ordered, I received the most awesome advice, and delivery was fast, and the products are reliable. The personnel are also very patient, helpful, and fabulously knowledgeable!

I purchased the GP ReCyKo Pro charger had difficulties with the battery compartment to charge the batteries and the instruction booklet or shall we say fold out instructions were terrible lack of information and lack of diagrams showing how to use the battery compartment. I also feel now though too late in the day the expense of the item is terrible compared to an alternative charger. All in all a redesign of getting the batteries into the compartment for charging needs changing and the instructions need to be more friendly to be understood. Struggling to understand at the moment if I need to charge the batteries before using them if only the instructions were easy on the eye to read I would not have such a problem, wouldn't buy again.

The 9V lithium battery CR-V9 should last at least 10 years in a regular smoke detector. In my case it lasted exactly 3 years and 6 months.

Short story, problem with a GP torch that was out of warranty. Contacted Customer Services and they straight away sent a replacement. Very impressed.

Replacement arrived today and of course works beautifully, as I would expect as I have 2 other GP torches. As I now have a working torch I had a fiddle with the old torch - problem with intermittant torch refusing to swith on or would switch off for no reason - poor contact. To my surprise, the spring in the cap clicked back into place and I now have a fully operational torch.
Phoned Customer services and offered to pay for the new one as the company had been so good over replacing the then faulty one - it seemed only right. Customer Service said not to worry - honours are even. What great Customer Service.

I pass this on for potential customers to have no concerns about buying from GP Battteries.

I had a problem with a GP power pack. Emailed the company and they bent over backwards to help. Can't praise them enough. Okay so the charger developed a fault but the speedy resolution meant that I didn't go without for very long.
Product is very good quality, not like some cheap alternatives.
I would strongly recommend GP Batteries.
