This company finances furniture from Ashley Furniture. At first I was excited to purchase a mattress with them. We purchased it in August 2023. The first payment was due September 1st I went online and created my account and attached a debit card to have the payment withdrawn automatically when the payment was due. When it got close I went into my account again and saw that they are having trouble with the card. I thought that was weird cause I pay a lot of my bills with that card. So I added a different card. 2-3 days later went back in and again they were having trouble with that card. So, I put another card on there and forgot to check back. When the time for the payment came all of a sudden they are blowing up my phone calling, sending text messages, and emails about the payment. I checked the account and there was plenty money in the account for the payment so I'm not sure why they are calling me. I finally take the call and I speak to the representative and she asks me if I would like them to call me before they take the payment I say no, just take it. I doubled the payment to cover both Sept. and Oct. but they start again with the calls and text messages BEFORE the payment is due, at this point I am beyond frustrated with them. I tell my husband nope I'm not doing this with them doesn't make no sense why they are doing this I'm am going to send them their money and be done with it. I get $1600 together and send it down on the 7th of November (it's posted to the account) they have already reported me to the credit bureaus impacting my score, but no reflection as of yet that I paid them off. I would be very cautious with a company like this! STALKING is not cool! I haven't felt this harassed in 20 years!
