I buy, sell and collect US Coins. Well for about 2 years or a little longer I have sent at least 25 photos of US Coins, recognized error coins and non error coins to the NOT so Great Collections.com because they advertise that they have a program that will pay to have your coins graded, auction them off, take their percentage and then send you a check for your part of the sale. They may say the program however they don't do the program. They are only trying to buy your coin dirt cheap and sell it themselves for huge profit margins. When you call them on it, the response is generic and scripted and start out the same way. They are sent by Ben (so called big boss) and they all start and end the same way. Dear Donald, Unfortunately at this time we wouldn't be interested in the whatever the coin was. Stay in touch Bla Bla Bla. I've talked to a number of real collectors that experience the exact same thing with the same exact response. I don't believe they would pay for anybody's coin to be graded unless it was valued in the $1000's and of course had it in there hands. So beware, the NOT SO GREAT COLLECTIONS IS NOT TRANSPARENT IN THEIR DEALINGS and they will try to get your valuable coin for nothing unless you call them on the program.
