Great Vacs Avis 5

I ordered a refurbished Kirby Sentria to replace one I'd had for many years. While I was pleased at how fast Great Vacs got my vacuum cleaner to me, that was all I was pleased about. The Kirby would run for a minute, then stop. We ended up having to have the switch replaced, which cost us an additional $160 at a local vacuum repair shop. Then, while using the hose, we discovered that the hoses were put together backward, making it impossible to attach them to the vacuum. We managed to fix this issue but it is clear that Great Vacs does quick, shoddy work. When I received an e-mail asking for a review, the link they send only went to their main shopping page. No way to leave a review. If I'd known the local repair shop sold Kirbys, I would have gone with them instead. Do yourself a favor: Do not give Great Vacs your business.

When I took out all the pieces of the Rainbow Vacuum I ordered, I found it was broken in three places. The lug nut attaching the Separator had been tightened to the extent that it couldn't be removed (it has to be removed and cleaned after each use). When I tried to put together the pole or wand to the motorized piece, it would not fit in. The part on the curved wand that should pop out to lock the two pieces together didn't. In short this group of parts would never function as a sweeper. I contacted the company immediately and received an email back saying to give them 24 hours. I heard nothing until I involved the credit company. I had to pay over $170 to ship back the parts and wait out the 90 day clock to receive my $800 minus what I paid in shipping. I love giving good reviews. Unfortunately I can't recommend this company.

Got my Kirby beeter brush, belts and bags in record time. Thank you Great vac. Also have had 3 back pack vacs for years from you and they are all running in tip top condition. I order new head, bags etc. For them and have always been satisfied with great service. Thank you!

This company is filled with scam artists. They exchanged an ozone machine I bought from them that only needed a new timer switch with a broken down used one as part of their “warranty”. They essentially took a working machine that needed one minor repair and gave me a broken machine instead. Why would they do this? The only explanation is that they wanted to keep my working machine and pawn off their junk. The machine I got was not only broken, but it was filled with dirt and was rusting on the inside where the plates are. There are several complaints similar to mine online. They also don’t answer their phone. Do not buy anything from them and definitely do not send in anything you might have bought from them for any warranty “repairs”.

I didn't like their vacuum but their service was phenomenal. Very legit and reliable company.
