bought a garmin alpha 100 and collar system...never charged right even with new software...ended up buying new batteries... which took 1.5 weeks to get with a lame and untrue shipping story...batteries received were 2 years old...still wouldn't charge...in the middle of a very short season in mass...went to lion country supply and got merchandise overnight that I was told could not be done...too bad they have a nice inventory...but when your car is broken you don't rent a car for 2 weeks...you pay for overnight shipping...easy math...and you keep the customer

I have just wasted two months of training my dogs because of 1) a defective product (Garmin) and 2) believing Gun Dog supply would exchange and upgrade the collar.
I returned the collar within the 30 day, guaranteed period and then waited another month for them to bill me $6 for sales tax for the upgrade.
When I called to find the status, they said I owed another $100 instead of an equal swap and I "misunderstood". I did not misunderstand - and I will not deal with Gun Dog Supply again. They do not honor their guarantee and they sold faulty equipment.

Ordered two brass name (I.D) plates, one for each of my two dogs. While the tag itself is nice, easy to read and seems to be holding up well, the rivets are weak and break easily. While they do offer replacement rivets at a reasonable price, be aware that they want $7 to mail it.

In an era of so many scams online, Gun Dog Supply is legit and they had what I needed at a good price. I called them and the guy I talked to sounded like he was actually from Missouri. I ended up ordering online after confirming that they had the starter I needed in stock and I received it shortly with surprisingly quick free shipping.

A few years ago I placed an order and it was inadvertently delivered to the wrong address. When I called Gun Dog supply, they simply replaced the items right away with no questions asked. I appreciate that amazing service even more after the following happened today. A much larger national company lost an item that I returned to them (even though the UPS tracking info confirmed they had received the package) and refused to refund my money for the package, which they admitted losing after receiving it.

I ordered a leather collar for my pointer - got it superquick and I'm really happy with the quality of the collar.
