Gymworld Fitness Avis 75

I am currently in Bulgaria and was desperate to get my hands on a very specific elliptical cross trainer. They assured me that they were experienced with shipping to this part of Europe and after great difficulty sending them the payment, through wester Union, I made the purchase. Almost 3 months passed, no tracking number no item. I had to file a dispute with my CC to get my money back. Usually I dodge such experiences but not this time.

The website is a scam, they only care about the money and they don't give a damn about the customer. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! The phone number is non existent and they don't reply to emails after the payment has gone through. Fake names such as Sarah and Waqas. Escalated it through my bank as suspicious

Do not use, seems to be a scam site. Very prompt service until payment is made, then no delivery of a supposedly stocked item, absolute no further responses to emails, calls going through to voicemail only. Could only pay via a dubious Payment link.
I have have had to report as a fraudulent transaction with my bank who will take the matter from here on in.

Do not but from this company. It is a scam site. Have lost £299. Phone number doesn't exist. Have sent me rude emails. Will report this company to the police. They are stealing money.

I saw their website and looked at a multi gym for £200. The same multi gym is being sold by Argos for £450, so obviously I was very interested.
I became suspicious, because all of their products were at a fraction of the price you would pay elsewhere, and I mean fraction!
Their telephone is dead and their email address inbox is full and emails cannot be left.
All the alarm bells are ringing and I would stay well clear. Very dodgy!

Unbelievably bad service when anything goes wrong. Considering how much money you’re spending, I would have expected at least a token attempt to resolve issues. But as soon as you’ve paid your money, the service level drops like a stone.
Use 3rd party suppliers for everything and refuse to take responsibility for their service, whilst insisting that you cannot deal with them directly.
Lots of false offers to give you money off ‘x’ or free ‘y’ which never materialise.
Even tried to claim ‘I don’t even work for Gymworld’ and ‘Thomas has left the company - can’t honour anything he offered’ etc. Before Thomas mysteriously reappears when you mention legal action.
Cowboys - avoid at all costs.

Thomas Lees is one of the most helpful people I have spoken to whilst purchasing a treadmill. He is a credit to Gymworld Fitness, and he spent a considerable amount of time with us to ensure we bought one suitable for our needs. Thank you Thomas.

I normally do not review companies however I felt it was due as a thanks to the help I received when selecting my rowing machine. Will buy from them again 5*

Ordered the Kettler Speed 5 Indoor Bike and couldn't be happier with the product. I purchase a lot of home gym equipment and I'm super impressed with the quality and functions - not to mention the customer service. Will definitely be buying from here again.

Very professional and friendly service, from placing the order to the machine being installed by them the week after. Very pleased with the FT1, I have trained for 10 years in gyms and I fancied this for my garage for the times I get in from work and I can go in and have a blast and do a body part or 2 and this is a quality machine, very well made with smooth movements and it can't be any more simple to use there isn't a body part what can't be hit on this machine because of all of the extras it comes with, if any maybe calves, but they would be if you used it to squat, which you could - I bought it mainly for chest flys, side delt raises, biceps and triceps, but it can be used for anything. I purchased the add on weight stacks also which probably weren't needed.

No answers on the phone, £1900 order not fulfilled.

Ended up getting the money back from Credit Card company.

AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE

I ordered a treadmill. Didnt hear anything regarding my order for 5-6 days. Finally chased them kindly asking how my order was progressing. A day later I recieve an email saying, sorry we are out of stock and we have no idea when we will recieve more stock from "OUR" wharehose, we have refunded the deposit (still to be seen), No offer of an alternative considering I was spending £900.. Pathetic! How are these people still in business other than use it as a front for something????????? AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID

Promise cashback on purchases, then don't pay up, they fob you off with excuses and don't reply to you when you chase them. Robbers - avoid them.

My story with these bunch of cowboys and money grabbing thieves.

Order placed end of March for a Treadmill with their installation service. List of excuses were:

1st - We have damaged the treadmill whilst loading, we will call
2nd - Our van has to go in for an MOT and a new exhaust, we will call
3rd - We have amended the delivery schedule and forgot to advise you, we will call.

Following a series of phone calls, I finally cancelled the order on the 21st of April.

The next fiasco was the return of the 1k payment.

From the 21st of April to date (May 24th) and the 4 to 5 phone calls so far. I am still waiting on a call back.

The funds were finally refunded via my Credit Card company. Order placed elsewhere with a fantastic service.

Buyer beware.

I ordered 3 pieces of equipment from gymworld nearly 2 months ago. No one contacted me for a delivery date so I called them and arranged delivery only to find out that the message was never passed on so my delivery date came and went. I then found out none of my goods were in stock and they were unsure when they would be able to deliver my goods. After 6 weeks of back and forth I cancelled my order and asked for a full refund. 2 weeks later I have still not received my refund and I keep being told the accountants are outsourced and only come in one day a week so they can't do anything until then. I've heard this excuse three times now. Totally exasperated and disappointed by the whole experience. I therefore suggest avoiding this company if you want your goods anytime soon.

I purchased a second hand exercise bike. The product was exactly as I had expected and the delivery was excellent too.
