Halcyan Water Conditioners Avis 

No issues with water marks and we are in a very hard water area. It seems to be working well. No sign of limescale so far (touch wood) 😅
I also had to contact the customer service before delivery and their support was excellent!

I would like to start by saying what an absolutely genius product this is, it has really changed my life! To give some background, I moved into our new home in east Hertfordshire in May 2023 and to my dismay was shocked to find out how terribly hard the water is here.

I have previously moved around a lot and lived in London and Essex and can honestly say the water in my new area is the worst I have ever experienced in my life, in fact London is far superior to here.

Now to the point, the water in the bathroom was so awful, I would lose so much hair when washing, it was literally breaking off and became so frizzy and unmanageable like candy floss, in fact most the time I couldn't even brush my hair which led to more breakage. I spent a fortune to install a salt based water softener which was an absolute disaster and ruined my hair even more as it completely removed the minerals and this didn't suit my hair type.

I then had to turn this off due to the damage it was causing. I got in touch with Halcyan and spoke to Chris who was extremely helpful and provided excellent customer service to assist me in purchasing the personal shower unit.

Now I have used the unit today and it has made a remarkable difference to my frazzled hair, it now feels softer and more healthy like it used to feel, I only wish I installed the whole house system in the first place!

I will do this eventually but it just means we have to lift up the floorboards to do so as that is where are incoming water pipe is located.

Now to end this review I will like to say what a fantastic and remarkable product this is, I was feeling so upset and hopeless about my hair and the damage caused by the hard water but I now believe Halcyan has solved all these issues.

Does what it says on the tin. I live in a hard water area and I noticed a difference immediately the unit was installed by one of the approved plumbers, which is around 6 weeks now. Skin and hair feel softer and less dry. The on/off knob on my shower had calcium deposits making it hard to turn and I am noticing that it glides more easily now. Shower glass is easy to clean. Kettle is clear of deposits. I frequently had to use vinegar in the loo to descale and haven't had to do this since it was installed. I am really pleased and glad I took the decision to install it.

Really good product for limescale. Very easy to install and does it job as it says. Water quality is better now after we installed this back in Feb 2023.

Easy to install, space saving, no maintenance required. Although only installed about 3 months ago, performance so far seems acceptable.

I don't often write gushing reviews but here goes... I was skeptical about this device and put off buying it for over a year. Now I couldn't recommend it enough. Surprised at how quickly it got to work and the immediate difference in the water quality. Water tastes nicer; dishes look cleaner; hair feels better; laundry feels softer when it comes out of the machine. Cleaning is no longer a chore. I am so glad we chose Halcyan over the chemical salt softener: it's the perfect solution. We live in a very hard water area. If it can work in our old house, I'm sure it would work anywhere!

I wanted to leave a review for Halcyan, having worked with some of the team recently and found them to be very straightforward and helpful with their advice, clearly explaining what the device can and can’t do. Whilst I don’t have a unit yet, the return on investment looks great so I will be in touch with them again soon!

I have no idea how this little product works so well, but it really does! We have had a regular water softener in the past but have moved to a house with less cupboard space and also got fed up with having to buy and store bags of salt. Our plumber installed this on our incoming mains pipe and it’s been amazing. Results were noticeable almost immediately. We live in a hard water area and limescale was a constant issue - not any more! As an added bonus my hair is much less dry and frizzy when washed. My partner notices a slight difference in the taste of the water, but I haven’t noticed this. In all we are extremely happy and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the Halcyon

I’ve lived most of my adult life in hard water areas (London, South Somerset) so imagine the joy of discovering a small device that might free me from the drudgery of hours of elbow grease, and the expense of gallons of limescale remover. Within a week of our Halcyan being fitted, there are no more threatened encrustations in any part of the bathrooms or kitchen. I imagine residual hidden ones in inaccessible places will also gradually dissolve, and our house plants will be eternally grateful.

Trying to avoid the fundamental problem for financial and PR problems is not the solution.
At the time of the post-sales of the replacement of the first coil, a few weeks into using your water conditioner, I contacted you and sent some pictures of the limescale build-up. You skipped the situation, saying that "it is only accumulation of minerals that can easily be clean. It was a natural occurrence due to the mineral in the water."
Since then, we started a picture and video dairy as we advised at the moment would happen from that moment. We will continue our record-keeping of the situation and follow our legal advice regarding what to do with the material. Before purchasing your product, as I mentioned at the consultation stage, the investment in the upgrading project was a consideration, including plumbing, appliances heating systems.
We are not engaging in a "message war" with you. We can see you are very good at it!
Instead, we want to be honest, as any customer will be when a product has been purchased based on misled information.

Living in Oxon with super hard water, I am still thrilled every day that I can merely wipe the water marks rather than scrub until my elbows and hands ache plus I will not have to buy limescale remover ever again. It truly is awesome and there are NO ONGOING COSTS unlike most other water conditioners - what you pay for the unit is all there is to pay (that and getting it installed). The customer service has been amazing. The team are very knowledgeable and friendly. Highly recommend to everyone. Plus they gave me a discount as I am a Blue Light Card holder.

We purchased a halcyan filter on the recommendation of our builders, during renovation works. Living in a hard water area, we were initially sceptical whether a short segment of piping could really perform as well as a water softener unit. It only took a few weeks of using it to show how wrong we were! There was noticeable less line scale buildup on our kettle, and when running a bath for the kids we needed far less solution to get a good amount of bubbles. One surprising effect was how much it improved my dry skin - overall we were so impressed with the product quality that we are using the same system when we finish renovating our new house!

We bought a Halcyan water condition for our house which has been refurbished with new pipes and water system. The plumber installed it about 8 months ago and we have been in the house for about 4 months. We are extremely pleased with the product which has stopped the build-up of limescale throughout the house. We are particularly happy as we have black taps which are ruined by limescale. The company was honest with the powder that is formed instead of limescale, and as promised this simply wipes away.
The customer service was great with knowledgeable and helpful advisors. The product was delivered quickly. Our plumber had no problem fitting it into the pipe system.

I have written a negative feedback and the company never check with me and said their engineer has called me but can't reach me out. I have all email communication record to proof you did not commit to your failures. In terms of effort, I have paid extra 200 pounds to change my piles to fit your conditioners and keep record videos and take photos to show the lime scale on my kettle through the year. But in my email record, your team has only let me know he has forwarded the information to the engineer for checking and that's all. I am happy to share all my email communication if necessary.

If you are reading this, rest assured, you are in for a treat…. I first encountered Halcyan some 18 month ago whilst researching for a solution to hard water that was quickly ruining the pipes and water systems in our new home. I was hoping to find an alternative to a water softener, but so many of those alternatives seemed unable to do what I wanted. In the end, I found Halcyan and they answered all my questions and concerns. They explained the device they sell does not create soft water but does stop the limescale forming on showers, taps, in pipes etc. It was expensive, but far cheaper than a water softener. It also has no running costs or maintenance for 30 years! Deep breath… I bought it. Got it installed and within 2 days the showering experience felt different - I can’t describe it other than being wonderful. The scale CONTINUED to build up - BUT THAT IS NORMAL - as this device needs time to rebalance your water systems and then deal with existing limescale. I tell you this as so many people rush to judge this product but you need to install it and see what things are like 3-4 months later. By then your showers and taps etc will start to look better, and that process just gets better and better. We are now 9 months into having this device and despite us living in an area with extremely hard water we now have super-duper showers and taps etc that are all free of limescale. I rarely ever recommend products, but this is a game changer and has no running costs. I also need to add what wonderful people work at Halcyan - so it’s been a joy to find that what they told me at the outset has been proven to work and far exceed my expectations. And with soaring energy bills this device can SAVE MONEY! - as there are no running or maintenance costs, will last for years, and your immersion and hot water systems will run more efficiently as they will not be caked in limescale, thereby cutting your energy bills! - see it as an investment that also adds value to your home and your quality of life. The sensation in the shower alone makes it worth it. Give them a call. You won’t regret it.
