I have to agree with everyone else…

I have to agree with everyone else about the poor service. You don't get to speak with anybody only by email. We sent a commercial blender in for repair under warranty paying for the postage, and they sent it back saying it was working fine. We would not have sent it in if it had been working correctly.

10 cup chopper - issue resolved quickly

I have a 10 cup chopper and one of plastic part (food pusher) got cracked after few uses. Contacted customer serivice line however, it was not in service due to covid. Contacted customer service online by filling out a form for warranty service. They got back in 2 hours to my email and asked for purchase receipt and some more clarifying questions. Upon email response they are now sending me the replacement including free shipping ( which is generally not the case). I liked the service and it meets my expectations.

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND WARRANTY - NEGATIVE STARS

A 10 cup capacity bowl scraper food processor bought in 2020 stopped functioning.

Response on March 3, 2021 - Since, this unit is out of stock, we ask that you please visit our website and select another model of equal or lesser value ($94.99) that will suit your needs.
I refused to pick a lower model.
Hamilton response on 15th March,2021 - Since you have opted to wait for the appliance to become available, we are unable to process the claim until the unit is back in stock.
In this case, we ask that please check back with us in the next 6-8 weeks, to confirm availability. Also, be sure to keep your appliance, as we are unable to process claims if the appliance is not in your possession.
Hamilton on 16th April, 2021 - Unfortunately, models 70730C and 70580C are currently out of stock. At this time, a replenishment date has not been confirmed for this appliance. If you prefer to wait until this appliance has been replenished, we ask that you please check back within the next 6 to 8 weeks for further details and logistics.

Do not support this company, they dont stand by their products!

We purchased a microwave from Wal-Mart not long ago, the light bulb burned out. No one makes this lightbulb and since we were out of the warranty we could not replace the bulb. Customer Service refused to help us with our problem and said to get a new microwave. When I asked to speak to someone else, they became very defiant and refused to help with anything. Will never buy another product from this company again.

Disappointing customer service

We bought a Hamilton Beach ice make through Costco online. We liked the ice maker very much but it stopped working. From the Hamilton Beach Canada website, I leaned that the item has a five year warranty. Contacted Hamilton Beach twice by email no reply. Costco has also not be helpful.

Terrible brand and customer service.
Panini bread maker stopped working after purchase. They offered to replace it and referred to their website. The only one on the site was discontinued. The other items for the same price were unavailable. Problem unresolved. Will never buy this brand again.

This is a first for me

This is a first for me! I bought 1 of there microwaves 2 years ago & it still works great except the fact that the bottom now has holes in it from it rusting! For weeks I couldn't figure out why it kept turning brown on the turntable wheels & all the way around. I would wash it & it would be gone & it would be back the next day. So we went to move it & discovered it had rusted from the bottom up! VERY DISSAPOINTED! I know its 2 years old but how often does the body give out before the motor? I feel it should have lasted longer & will not be buying another HB product!

I had received a slow cooker as a gift and it stopped working after a few months. I contacted customer service and they said they would need us to send it back to receive a new one. My husband had unknowingly throw it in the trash so I didn’t even respond back. Well a couple weeks later I received a new one. I’m not sure if that was on purpose or on accident but thanks Hamilton Beach! What a nice surprise. 🙂

Negative 5 stars. When attempting to replace their cracked carafe, no response from Hamilton Beach after two attempts. Will never waste hard earned money on Hamilton Beach. Customer service does not exist.

We purchased the Hamilton Beach…

We purchased the Hamilton Beach Flexbrew model 49957
after about 4 months we noticed our carafe was cracked along the top area. OK probably happened when washing or handling.
The issue is we cannot find a replacement carafe!
Everywhere we look it says backordered with no promise date. These units are still for sale in most retail stores. How can a company not have replacement carafes?!? poor planning ?
I will never buy Hamilton Beach again

I purchased a toaster oven for my wife…

I purchased a toaster oven for my wife as Christmas gift directly from Hamilton Beach. She wanted a different model so I emailed customer service for instructions so It could be returned. In an email, they said that they would get back to me within 1-3 business days. They did not respond so I sent them another email. They responded and asked me for the order number. There was no paperwork in the box and I told them so in the 3rd email. It now has been two weeks since my third email and they have not responded yet. I suspect this is how they deal with their customers now. I will never buy another Hamilton Beach product.

Wish I could rate them a zero. Worst Customer Service I have encountered. No response except for some automated ones. I opened a gift at Christmas and a part was damaged, I have never been able to use product and still have way of getting it fixed. The lack of customer service, truly non-existent, is astounding. Stay clear of this company, there are plenty of competitors that care about their customers. Shame on you, Hamilton Beach.

One disappointed customer…

I just received (by mail after waiting a month) my Hamilton Beach Artisan Bread Maker, Model number 29888 and it doesn't work. I tried calling customer service but they aren't taking calls. So I got on their website and the only way to talk to a live person is to pay for it. What the heck, you sell me something that doesn't work and want me to pay to talk to someone. I have had this product for one day, doesn't work plain and simple. I'm going to package it back up and have Amazon take it back. Beyond upset. Covid doesn't keep you from having a live customer service agent.

I usually don’t write reviews unless it’s for something that exceeded my expectations. If it’s something not that good I just won’t spend money on that product/company anymore. I bought a mixer for my wife. Model number 63392 Series C2702CE. When she opened the box the whisk was broken into pieces. After exchanging a few emails with Hamilton Beach they told me they couldn’t help me because it’s a part that’s no longer available. This is one of their latest models so it being no longer available makes no sense.

Really bad customer service …

We bought a coffee maker through Amazon and 6 months later it started leaking!
I’ve been trying to contact them to no avail!

It’s on warranty and I can’t even get it fixed or replaced because they won’t return my messages!
Will never buy from this company again!!!

I had 5 years warranty on coffee maker…

I had 5 years warranty on coffee maker but it stopped working after 3 years, after I sent all information needed, customer service find that it was a warrantied and a replacement was to be sent on Nov. 17, 2020 per Chrisandra but to date Jan 4, 2021, no replacement coffee maker in sight.

No customer service, at all

Just awful. I ordered a mixer on November 01, 2020, order 7519665. Ten days go by without a tracking number email so I call customer service for an update. The company has turned off their phones to protect their employees from COVID-19. I'm not sure why they can't answer the phone at home, that's what I have done since March. So I submit an email requesting an update. I get a response that there's a problem with the order, check back Friday. I do, no one responds. I email a week later, but no one responds. I email another week out, but no response. Here we are a month later and I email again. I get a response four days later saying exactly what the original email said, "Problem with order, we're investigating, check back Friday". I responded and asked for a meaningful response or cancel the order and refund my credit card. No reply. Did they lay off their staff, or do they simply not care? This is absolutely ridiculous. I guess I have to call my credit card company and dispute the charge to resolve this. This experience has been so frustrating that I don't think I will ever purchase another item from them.

Update: I messaged them on Twitter letting them know what went down. They responded saying to contact customer service, lol. I responded and told them how many times I have tried to contact customer service, but they don't respond, and I'm moving on and a lot of people are frustrated with the lack of service. Haven't heard from them since. That was two weeks ago. Well, there are other brands available.
