The Handy Squad is the premier Handyman Service in London. We have been helping Londoners with their home and office repairs since 2005. Our regular hours are 8am to 6pm on weekdays, but we can also come out to you earlier in the morning, later in the evening and at the weekends. Very high standard of work
We were really impressed with Ben's high standard of work and the efficient, organized way he went about it. He was very knowledgeable and provided some good advice, and the work was done in a way that minimised disruption to the rest of our flat. Very happy with the experience!

I just had "The Handy Squad" complete a job. "Ben Scott" was very professional, organised, diligent, and tidy, as he cleaned up afterwards. I was really surprised that "Ben Scott" had all the additional items I did not even think to have and that they came at no extra cost. Well done, "The Handy Squad."

Picture hanging work completed to high standard
Ben Scott was polite and pleasant and a very tidy worker. He hung a collection of pictures for us and consulted us on every decision, plus the standard of work was very high. He also created a new fitting for an old hook rail we were going to get rid of. Would recommend him to anyone.

1200 pound to install a single kitchen base unit
They turn up the first time, did nothing and charged me 100+. They say it's a big job and ask for 1100 for the second appointment.
Avoid, you can get honest and more competent men from local.

Brilliant, as I have come to expect!
Brilliant! I’ve used Handy Squad a few times over the years, & I’ve always had a really positive experience.
This time we had 3 relatively small jobs to do, but each of them was beyond my DIY skills, so I called Handy squad and Paulo turned up exactly as arranged the following day.
He was efficient, professional & left the place spotless. The charge was reasonable and the whole process completely effortless.

I had two goes at getting an…
I had two goes at getting an electrician through this outfit. On both occasions he failed to turn up. An enquiry led to a promise to investigate and tell me what had happened. No one contacted me. I then discovered that I had been charged for the work. A further enquiry led to a promise to investigate and call me back that day. That did not happen. I have called again today and am promised repayment. Will it happen?
Not recommended.

No company ever wants to receive a review like this, but your complaint is as embarrassing to us as it is deserved. We are extremely sorry for every failure you list. What you painfully describe is not meant to be able to happen at the Handy Squad. A failure of communication with one of our tradesmen resulted not only in him not attending your property, but, in our belief that he had, you being erroneously charged. This charge has of course now been fully refunded. While a public reprimand like this is painful, it does force us to learn from our mistakes and improve our processes to ensure that this never happens again. We work very hard to ensure that each and every customer is left happy and wanting to book us in again. In this case, though, we have let you down badly and are very sorry for the inconvenience and frustration we have caused you.

Reassuring and top quality
As with all previous times I have used the handy squad, I have nothing but praise. The handyman, Sebastian, could not have been more helpful and took the job so seriously, checking with me I was happy with everything. Very friendly service and I think the prices are reasonable.

Your visit yesterday 5 July was a big success.
Mica your plumber quickly diagnosed the toilet issue. Rather than wasting time driving to get a new flusher mechanism, he helped us order one on Amazon and will return to finish the job next week.
James your electrician is super-friendly. He secured the electrical cables, set up the Ring camera and lights, and diagnosed the fault with the cable lights.
Tomasz your general handyman did a great job of repairing the water damage to the drywall, and doing multiple paint touch-ups throughout the house.
The guys were clean – they wore these blue plastic bootees, and they vacuumed up after themselves so we didn’t have to.
Your rates are very affordable and actually cheaper than 3 others I found online. It was great value for money and I look forward to using your team again for future maintenance issues.
