Looks like I'm here with everyone else looking for their covid socks in the mail. Ordered 3 weeks ago. Got my undies, no socks. Waited. Still no socks. Busy signal at all 1-800 numbers and the chat button on their website has been not a link for some time.

Placed and order on May 24th and heard nothing. Two emails later, I was told my order was canceled due to the product "not being available from the manufacturer anymore". I thought Hanes was the manufacturer? WTH? Their "Mission Statement" states the following: "Our missions is to provide our customers with the best and most convenient shopping experience possible. We shop the globe and are committed to giving excellent service and top quality brands every day." What a load of bull! Words. Just empty words. This company deserves what must surely be coming down the road for them in the near future with customer service like terrible. Why have a sale and update your website with new product when it's not available? To demonstrate how awful you are? Covid-19 didn't stop them from updating their website trying to collect dollars but they can't ship or at a minimum contact their customers. Lesson learned? Don't EVER buy the Hanes label again. Finis.

I'd rather buy socks from the shady guy at the flea market

I'll copy/paste the review that I submitted to hanes.com which they refused to publish because it violated their guidelines somehow. Awful, awful, awful customer service.

Order somewhere else
Ordered 2 packs of boxers and 2 packs of socks. It took almost a month to receive. It was being shipped from North Carolina to Ohio. I could have walked there and back to pick them up in less time. I received the wrong size socks despite it being clearly stated on my email receipt and packing slip. Emailed customer service about 10 days ago and still no response. Called 3 different 800 numbers that were provided, busy signals across the board. I didn't even think busy signals still existed. I won't be pursuing a return as I need the socks before 2023. I would say the customer service was among the worst I've ever encountered but, having yet to receive any "customer service" I can't really review it. The products are fine but the lack of concern for the customer is unacceptable. Guess I'm a Fruit of the Loom guy now.

Hanes employees take advantage of their customers. I placed an order and after 14 days never received it. I contacted customer service and told him that I wanted to cancel. They said they could not cancel it even though it was still not shipped out yet and they did not know when it would be. The only thing I could do was put refused on the package when I received it and return to sender. I did that in Big Bold letters! Then they only credited me for a portion of my total when they did receive the return package. They took advantage. If you’re not careful you may be a victim of this too. It was clearly put on the outside of the package for all to see!!! Do not shop with Hanes.com. They are not honest.

I wish I have read the reviews before I purchased shirts from Hanes. I ordered the items on May 11th and haven’t received any news when they will be shipping. Tried to call and email several times but I was on hold for more than 30 minutes, so I decided to hang up the call. I may call my credit card company to cancel my order and have them deal with the payment. I am very disappointed that a company like Hanes doesn’t have great customer service if they want to stay competitive with Amazon and others. I will NEVER order from Hanes!!!

used to be better underpants. since out-sourcing, elastic waistband starts to come apart. too bad. they used to be a good brand. i find fruit of the loom is better brand now for a good price. shame on them. i live in the winston salem nc area where they originated from.

Funny you have to tap a star before you can type. It's actually a -* (negative star). Like others have said, should've read the reviews first. Too bad, but I'm 65, the brand is much older, so they should know better business practices, so they must be trying to fail. So let's all help out and take our business elsewhere.

Mistake

I made the mistake of ordering from Hanes website. It’s now a week since placing my order and no shipment. I called to cancel and was on hold for almost 30 minutes. After I finally got someone online she said I can’t cancel since it a processing and I said why not since it hasn’t shipped and she said they just can’t cancel it. I have done numerous orders during this pandemic with other companies and it has never taken this long to ship my orders. Never ever again will I order from them. Beware if you do

Good bye Hanes, hello Fruit of the Loom or Gildan(I will try both)
Have bought Hanes for years. Last 2 times I bought, T-shirts(white V neck) began shrinking and loosing the V neck after 1 month of use. I washthem normally and don't use hot air dryer. Only sun dried, so hopefully they will shrink less.
It didn't happen, they shrunk and lost form. I sent emails to customer service and got nowhere. As I see here, I am just 1 of the hundreds of disgruntled customers that have lost faith in Hanes.
Never again will I buy from them.

You may never get your order!!!

I placed 2 orders, one on May 4 and one on May 5. Neither has shipped as of today 5/13, even though Hanes guarantees shipment within 5 business days. No one is available for questions at their 800 number, but of course they charged me credit card on the day I ordered. I wish I would have read their on-line reviews before I placed my orders. I would never have placed them. They are almost all negative. Very bad business.

Always on back order

I have ordered on 3 separate occasions undershirts from Hanes within the last 18 months. Each occasion I have not received my ordered as confirmed and had to call in to find out my order was back ordered with no date of delivery. Each time I have had to get a refund which cannot be confirmed in an email. The person on the phone was nice but frankly did not care just saying “good bye” to end the transaction. I will no longer buy anything from Hanes. I have been buying Under Armour as a result.

Stop putting all the damn tape on the t…

Stop putting all the damn tape on the t shirts it ruins the product I throw the top shirt in the trash because as soon as I get the tape off the residue attracts every floating particle around and your clothes smell like booty straight out of the package and you can't cover it with any cologne

Poor quality.

Tee shirts from this company have gotten so short that I can't even tuck them in. I hope they are saving a lot of money, because they have got the last of mine.

Going back to Fruit of the Loom

Going back to Fruit of the Loom. Worse socks ever. Bought my husband socks for Christmas. After 2 washes they had already begun to unravel. The quality is thin and slick. On carpet he slipped and fell hard. Cheap sock! Don't waste your money! I never will again!

Not the quality they used to have. Thinner material that doesn't hold up. Some items are sized too small. Nope. No thanks. After 30 years I need to find a better company for clothing.....

Are they creating a cheaper product but charging more ?

I’ve been wearing Hanes women’s briefs, size 6 for years. The most recent pack I purchased was a disappointment as the fabric was thinner, less comfortable and less stretchy. A complete waste of my money and time as I won’t wear them.

I have been a loyal customer of Hanes…

I have been a loyal customer of Hanes for decades. The women's panties fit me perfectly. I recently bought a package, and it will be the last package I ever buy. As I was taking them out of the package I noticed the material was different. It was thin and no longer soft stretchy fabric. It was cheap material and they don't fit me, I'm constantly having to adjust them. Very disappointing, but I'll be taking my business elsewhere.
