Poor experience
I recently returned a dress to House of Haniya and experienced a very poor refund process. I returned a higher-value dress but was only refunded for the cheaper item I kept. Despite sending photos and repeatedly explaining the situation, the company has refused to correct the mistake.
What’s worse, in their latest email, they falsely claimed I returned a black dress — something I never ordered — which is misleading and unprofessional.
As a customer who had to pay for the return, this experience has been frustrating. The customer service has been slow, inconsistent, and unhelpful, and I would not recommend purchasing from this company until they improve their refund policies and communication.

They sent the wrong dress and refuse to answer emails or give a solution on how to fix the issue…

I liked the dress but it was damaged upon arrival , and when asked how to return I was asked to cover the cost of the postage if I changed my mind. I replied advising I like the dress but do not want a damaged dress after paying full price, alternatively if you give me a voucher towards the next purchase I am happy to keep the dress however I was sent the same response, if you have changed your mind you can return the dress but as they are a small business I should cover the cost of the postage.

This company is a scam
This company is a scam. I have been waiting for a refund for 3 months now. I've sent multiple messages in the chat, but all I get are robotic responses. They keep saying the refund issue case is closed, yet I haven't received my refund. At first, they claimed no refund was allowed because the item didn’t pass inspection, which was a complete lie. Then they agreed to issue the refund, but it’s been 3 months and I still don’t have it in my account. I've reached out to and s but I'm still not having much luck.

I strongly advise against purchasing from Haniyas. In my personal experience, they operate like a scam. I placed an order with them in the past, and despite taking my payment, I never received my purchase.
Thankfully, I had paid using a credit card, so I was able to recover my money through the card provider.
A piece of advice:
Avoid buying from them altogether.
If you do take the risk, always use a credit card so you're protected in case things go wrong.
Stay cautious when shopping online — it’s not worth the stress!
And now their website is shut down ... what a joke!

I would contact your bank providers and get your refunds back via them. Or which ever method of payment you made. Hope this helps. As I got my refund back via my bank visa disputes. Keep all your proof email correspondence receipts etc as you will need to provide all this when you make the claim.
I haven't as yet seen a company like this
I haven't as yet seen a company that is this bad, bought two outfits, didn't fit sent them back on recorded delivery, heard nothing. Sent email responded saying you will have refund in 4 weeks. Nothing came, got in touch again, responded it will be with you in a week. Heard nothing. Sent a message again, responded by say it has been authorized will be sent, again heard nothing. Now I will be getting a solicitor involved, this is shameful. The compony has no morals. I honestly thought it was a respected company but I was wrong. If they think I will drop this they are soo wrong. It's principle now.

Haniya owes me a refund of.less that 30.pounds which they are not refunding, total silence in the communication. I initially reminded them about the refund after 2 weeks, and they said I should allow 28 days. To be clear before the return we did communicate and agreed for the return and they also acknowledged that i should allow 28 days.
Ever since then they have not responded to my refund requests. It is really sad that this has happened, seeing other reviews now, it appears that this has happened to others.
I am really surprised by this as I have shopped from them.for many years. Unfortunately I paid by debit card and cannot claim. For those that still shop with them, I suggest you use your credit card to get protection.
I will escalate this even if it is for less than 30 pounds. It is a matter of a person's rights and to be honest, this adds up!
I never expected this from Haniya's, infact I no longer receive the auto message that they have received my message and will respond within a certain time.
DO NOT ORDER FROM HANIYA’S BOUTIQUE
Purchased a suit on 19 September 2024, tried to use a voucher as part payment but it didn’t go through (received voucher from Haniya’s in October 2023, told at that time that there was no time limit in which to use it) but bought suit anyway on card as it had a discount. Delivery date was stated on site as 21 - 23 October 2024 hopefully in time to take on holiday with me.
Emailed Haniya’s same day asking them why voucher would not work and to refund the voucher value to my bank account. No response.
Emailed them on 28 September asking for update on my query and if i did not receive a response that I would like a full refund. Received automated email stating they had a technical issue and that they would respond in 3-4 days. No response.
Emailed them on 17 October asking them to confirm whether I would receive the suit by 23 October as I was taking it on holiday. Stated that this was not the type of customer service that I had expected and that I had received better customer service by Palwasha the previous year. Received automated email stating they had a technical issue and that they would respond in 3-4 days. No response.
Emailed them on 3 November asking for a refund stating that if I didn’t receive confirmation of the refund (plus value of voucher) by 7 November then I would have to get my bank involved. No response.
I should have checked the reviews here before placing the order as I would have saved myself the hassle and time. However I have purchased from them before and not had this problem so didn’t expect any issues this time - how wrong was I!
After having read the reviews on trust pilot it looks like I am going to have to get my bank involved regardless of any contact from Haniya’s.
UPDATE: got my card provider involved on 7 November and I was able to get my money back through them within a few days. Will not be buying from Haniya’s again.

Bought 4 suits from haniyas and returned 2 as the quality was not great and returned these via royal mail tracked, the delivery was attempted twice and failed, they keep saying it hasn't come and no card has been left so I called royal mail and rescheduled the delivery as haniyas told me that I needed to do this and further more the delivery was attempted again twice and failed to deliver. I keep emailing and they keep saying they will look into this but had no further reply from them. Customer service is absolutely appalling! Really regret buying from them and will not be buying from them again also still waiting for one more suit to arrive which i haven't had an update from. Absolutely disgusting customer service. I have had better customer service from the actual designer websites from pakistan. No wonder they stopped doing Klarna!

poor quality clothing. arrived stained, marks, and ripped. not suitable for anyone to wear out or anywhere tbh. cant believe this has happened to me even when i read the reviews! i returned everything as it came the next day, two delivery attempts were made with fail, as it was reported no one was in. how can this be? ridiculous.

I waited 4 months for an order I did not receive. When I requested a refund they made me wait another six weeks and then said I would have to ask my bank to request the refund. This has been such a frustrating experience and it’s still ongoing.

Goods not delivered …
Put in my order in February and it is now July. Nothing from them.
My other order they delivered without one item and they never refunded the money to me.
Now I have been emailing for 2 weeks and they are completely silent.

Thats the worst Company you Can rely on. PLEASE DO NOT ORDER. Ones you order and, you will get corfimation that your order is confirmed. After that your lost.
They do not send you anything. After sending many emails. They will tell you many things. Like out storage get damage. Because of Eid it was holyday. Till and you will get 3 options. Receive money back order New with credit from them. Even If you order New ones then they will remove your order and it will not be trackeble. Thats a scam there doing to all custemers. Stay away from that s**t. I have lost money. Hopfully i will get back from my bank for this scandal.
