Happily Ever After Book Box Avis 

As usual fab purchase.
I brought the 12 days of books and am opening one book per month … challenging!!! The first I opened I haven’t read ,a period read Something different so that’s good.

I have recently received my second book box and I am really enjoying it. I also love that we can vote for which book we could possibly be reading the following month.
I have really enjoyed what I have read so far and the little extras this small business do in book club. For example they recently had Christmas games with the winner receiving free books. If you are looking to join a book club (like I was) and you don't want to feel you need to commit each month this is the perfect company to join.

I’ve been looking for a low priced book subscription for ages and this one is such good value. Three books per month. I’ve not yet had a book I’ve read and I’m getting sent reads I would never usually pick up and so far I’ve really enjoyed all the books I’ve received. It’s my one little monthly treat and I’m so glad I found them x

I usually only write reviews to moan, but this is so great I wanted to tell everyone.
Its great value for 3 books a month; and I haven't had a book I disliked yet. Only once have I received a book that I had already read (and it was a brilliant one) and they immediately replaced it.
Customer service is lovely and friendly. They are a small business so sometimes delivery takes a little while, but well worth waiting for.
My only complaint is that I don't have enough time to read them all

I don't really write reviews, but I love love this book box! I've been signed up for a few months. It's vegan, eco, and the staff are great. One of my boxes was stolen and they sorted it really quickly. They were also really sympathetic! It's reasonably priced, I get books I wouldn't have looked at otherwise, they donate to charities, you get tasty chocolate, they save books from landfill; if I were to start a company it'd be this one 😄 they also listen to feedback which is great.

Good intentions! However, contents was as described, but all on the "cheaper" side and the first thing my wife said is, why don't I take the money and buy two books I do want! I personally don't like paperbacks, something I only thought about after receiving my first box - but this is no fault of theirs. Both books were on WWII, which was a bit disappointing since there are so many possible subjects! I think maybe the business should drop their profit margin and up the quality, or accept that its not possible to do a reasonable box when you're a small business. Hurts to tell the truth, but these are also all my own opinions - others could find things just fine!

I love a book subscription but I've been disappointed with this one which was a gift. There is no choice of books so often find books are like the ones on discount at the supermarket. The last book was very thin - only 145pages. Good for slow readers but poor for bookworms that like a good read that you can disappear into

Amazing subscription the price is good the quality of products is good any issues I email and get a response straight away the WhatsApp group is nice and the talks with authors I love such a nice touch really good thank you

I received 3 months of the book and pamper box - fantasy genre as a gift for Christmas and it was great.

The coffee bags were good quality every month and the chocolate was also good quality and tasty (which can be hit or miss with vegan chocolate!)

The beauty products included a bath fizz, a shampoo bar and a tube of face mask.

The books were good quality one hardback 2 softcover.

The only slight downsides were:
1) I don't have a bath, so might be worth being able to put that info in when signing up for the boxes
2) 2/3 books were YA fantasy. Both seem interesting so fairly happy with it but wish it was possible to opt for only adult fantasy if possible.

Neither is a deal-breaker tbh and very thrilled with the boxes and would recommend them to anyone.

I love getting my box each month. Digging in to see what treats I have been sent and looking at the blurb on the book.
So far the books have been varied in style but lovely to read widening my knowledge and apetite for authors who are new to me. Thank-you so much.

Bought a subscription for my daughter as part of her Xmas and very happy with the service. Books were delivered quickly, good selection and I'm sure she will love them and enjoy her subscription for a long time to come.

I’ve been a subscriber for over a year.

Signed up for a 12-month subscription. The first box arrived with one of the beauty products missing and no note regarding the animal charity for which the box had raised money. The second box has yet to arrive, despite the payment being made 14 days ago. When I contacted Happily Ever After, I received a generic email telling me that the order could take a further 5 days, no apology/explanation regarding the missing item, and a rather large paragraph asking me to refer a friend, I've cancelled my subscription.

This is a brilliant gift idea and it’s now my default go to gift for friends and family. I started off with a yearly subscription for my parents anniversary ( re my previous review) and each month they received three books which have all been great for avid readers like them. A year on I have now bought no less than 5 other one-off gifts such as the pamper box for a friend who needed cheering up and one for a friend coming out of surgery. I have also purchased the blind date with a book for a family member who was delighted by the surprise. The company has now added international shipping options via their Etsy site, this is perfect for my pals who live abroad and can’t easily access English books, the ultimate mystery box was a great choice for them. All in all it’s a great idea and each box has more than exceeded expectations, as they are all curated with care, beautifully packaged and delivered on time. I don’t know quite how they manage it for a small family run business, there must be some special book fairies lending April a hand?

I chose the "surprise" option. I want my book club to expand my reading horizons am happy to dip into different genres and styles.
Major bonus is that everything is vegan-friendly.
So far had 1 box and very happy with this subscription.
Hardback book, 2 herbal tea bags, a vegan edible treat (chocolate this month) and a self-care gift.
The vibe is very much "make yourself comfortable, curl up and enjoy the read".
Looking forward to my next box!

A brilliant surprise every month - look forward to it so much!

I was a little apprehensive about my first box as I am a little choosy when it comes to books; however, I was absolutely delighted with the one that I received. Although a multi prize winner and with loads of excellent reviews, I had not heard of it but enjoyed it very much. Useful good quality beauty item, coffee bags, chocolate and attractive little bookmark - nothing not to love! And I can feel smug knowing it's for a very good cause. Thank you HEA team.

I get 3 boxes subscription per month from happily ever after. I like the different genre books I picked horror, crime & thriller, mixed fiction young adult book boxes and happy every month with chocolate coffee tea bookmark and books I receive. Books are new and love coffee bags. Happy customer im getting their boxes roughly about 4 months now all great! Postage arrives within 5 days and comes nicely sealed in nice box with information leaflet about what's in this months box and about what creators of book box get up to and charity animals that u help by purchasing a box!
