Haste Limited Avis 

Would not recommend to anyone, made a stressful experience significantly more stressful and more time consuming than it needed to be. Communication within your organisation is clearly an issue and although each engineer that has attended the property has been professional and polite.
It took you 3 visits just to fix some lights but would have took more, it’s only because I raised a complaint that the engineer that attended fixed them that day. Why should it take 3+ visits to investigate a light it’s absolutely ridiculous.
Cancel appointments without telling the customer.
My tv was working fine before the supply cable failed to my house and caused it to flicker on and off in rapid succession. You’ve investigated and said that it didn’t cause the lines on the screen.
Useless company.

Removed my electricty meter without my permission or warrant from a court left my property unlocked.
The entered my empty property without concent warrant right of entry act 1954 without the police in attendance in october 2024 i had to get a new supplier as Octopus said they didnt give Haste ltd permission to enter the house if they did i would be able to claim compensation from octopus Haste are ignoring my request for a copy of the warrant they have damaged my door i reported it to the police who said contact Haste Ltd but they just ignore my requets for copies of all corrispondance and CAN ANYONE TELL ME WHO TO COMPLAIN TO AS HASTE ARE NOT REGISTERED DEBIT COLLECTORSNOR ARE THEY A SUPPLIER OF ELECTRICITY I WILL NOT STOP UNTIL I GET ANSWRRS SO BE CAREFUL THEY AS UNLISENCED COMPANY

Unfortunately I had the misfortune to have to deal with this company. We experienced a power surge which caused damage to our television. UK power sent this company to our address to collect the tv to conduct checks. I took videos of the damage to the tv ie buzzing , lines running across the tv, tv switching itself off etc. Both Haste engineers witnessed this and saw the videos.
To my shock I received a report from Haste stating they could find no damage and the TV was in their opinion working. When I enquired in to this ridiculous assessment they stated there was power to the TV and they deemed it working.
It is clear that Haste work very closely with the power providers and it is clear they will do anything to prevent a claim being made.
UK power networks eventually admitted there was a link between the power surge and the damage caused. I received £200 which was far less than the value of the TV.
I personally do not trust Haste and have lost all confidence in them to provide an honest and ethical assessment.
Unless your TV has physically blown up I would not waste your time with this company.
They do not even deserve a one star .

Haste Ltd have apparently been subcontracted by Octopus Energy to check gas and electric metres at private properties. I arrived home this afternoon to find a letter from Haste, clearly written in haste, threatening me with a magistrates warrant to gain access to my property. The letter also advised that an engineer called today (without an appointment) and I wasn't at home. No!! Really!! That's because I was at work; just like your engineer. Had the engineer had a second brain cell he/she/it would have spotted all four electric meters just behind the main entrance to the apartment block and the gas meters stuck to the outside of the property in two large boxes. What a shame neither company could be bothered to contact me to advise of the engineers impending arrival, I could have save him/her/it a wasted journey. I phoned Haste to attempt to make an appointment for a time convenient to me but was advised that 6pm any day was not convenient for Haste engineers. Shame!!! If I want a service, I will make myself available. Haste want me, so Haste must work around me. Alternatively, employ engineers to work in pairs, thereby guaranteeing at least 2 brain cells in the van at any given time, and they might find the meters they came to check without the unnecessary need to leave threatening letters.

Absolutely disturbing. They worked on behalf of octopus they attending my property during work hours and because I was not home to open the door they send a threatening letter that they intend to magistrates warrant against me. Completely unprofessional, heavy handed and manipulative behaviour. I have written to octopus that is is completely unacceptable to threaten people is such a way. I will be raising this with the ombudsman and citizen advice and any other regulatory body so that they can no long operate in such an offensive and threatening manner.
