The staff every time don't want to give me receipt and I always need to ask three times to get receipt. And what wore today they scammed me... They charged me too much and when I showed them original price worker told me that I' m wrong and she even told me that I shouldn't come to this store!!! Really??? Don't buy at heron on Walker.... Thet not only steal your money but they are so rude for customers, the shop is very dirty and their food often is spoiled

I shopped at the new store in Doncaster, Lonsdale, DN2 5HY on the 26th August for 8 minutes, its not an area or a shop i know, i have a disabled badge and saw a dropped curb leading to a clear area in front of the shop, i have to admit that it was confusing not having parking bays painted on the ground but comon sense told me that the shop would provide disabled parking near to the entrance for easy access. I have now recieved a parking fine, i went back to the store today to see what i had done wrong, i did then see notices telling me that you shouldnt use the front of the shop with easy access for people with disablities. This time i used the disabled parking at the shop which is round the back of the store which is a long way to the entrance, I spoke to the store manager who couldn't apologise enough and agreed that the dropped curb leading to the parking is misleading and that the parking provisions are inadiquate for many disabled people. I won't visit this store or any other Heron store again in the future. Very upset, disappointed and already struggling with daily living costs rising and having a very limited budget. Surely as a grocery shop management team its in your interests to ensure adiquate provisions should be made for disabled parking.

Happened twice now when shopping at the Fredrick street store in South Shields they’ll have certain deals advertised at the shelves and then when you take the items to the till the deals aren’t there and they try to charge you extra. And the staff which are all dumb and ignorant when you mention it to them they start telling you you’re wrong. No wonder they are the deadest herons I’ve ever been into.

Went in the Bridlington store today , young man on till (tall, dark hair) was absolutely lovely , fantastic customer service , friendly ,chatty . Had a lovely interaction with my 12 yo son and managed to put a smile on his face (which is nothing short of a miracle ) an absolute credit to ur store .

Better prices than Aldi! 🏆 I like finding some bargains in the Wisbech store, always a surprise and most of the new things I try for the first time are from here. Sometimes I actually buy more than I can carry, but can’t leave those bargains behind! The only shop left where crazy deals and clearances can still give me a wow at times. Staff are happy to help with anything I ask, usually it’s “do you have more?” of a product I really liked lol. Pina Colada Hagen Daas ice-cream was so good and a chance not to be missed at the great bargain price of 70p, also Costa The Bright Blend ground coffee made a great cuppa for £2 a bag. They also sell HiLife Tuna & Sardine flaked loin pouches, which is the only wet cat food my cat literally meows for and enjoys outside of her dry biscuit demands 👍👍👍

I seen a bottle of slush puppie soft drink and it was advertised at £1 but they are charging customers £1:25 so I reported this to the manager at barnard castle store but they have not changed the advertised price, this is clearly a scam and is the second time they have done this to me, imagine how many more customers they have coned over the years, I have videod this and reported to trading standards.

Always liked heron as can always pick up a few bargains from there and snacks for half the price Tesco and other supermarkets charges for the same items, over time as the big supermarkets keep raising prices every week I've started using Heron a lot more and great the way they don't join in with the price fixing the other supermarkets do and just keep reasonable prices and have great deals everytime I go in, one good example from yesterday was muller yogurt that cost £1.39 and the same ones are £4 in Tesco (or £3 on a club card) and £2.50 in Morrisons so glad I have one in my local town so I can call in every week

Herons customer service is diabolical. If you have a problem for get telling them. They have a really bad way of dealing with issues. Best thing is to shop elsewhere just in case. That way you will be treated fairly Do your self a favor and don't shop at the Halesowen branch. The staff are two faced and they spread bad remarks about. The manager has great pleasure spreading terrible accusations. The food is only good for simple people to match the simple people who work there. They will come to regret treatment people like that. I'll laugh when they close down. People out there shop elsewhere and don't give them your money.

I was in your chaddesdon heron branch today with my friend who infact works at the store itself. I have NEVER felt so sad for the way ‘Kerry’ spoke to and belittled her colleague and my friend who was a customer at the time infront of me. kerry addressed my friend rudely multiple times and interrupted multiple conversations between myself and her when not necessary. Kerry carried the worst attitude and made me feel not only uncomfortable but anxious at the same time. I have never been in your store before and I will to be quite frank never be returning. As paying customers Kerry should detach from the relationship she has with her work colleagues, when they are very clearly NOT at work. 0/10 for your choice of employee , considering the role is very much customer facing - you would assume kezza would care about her job. - would give 0 stars if I could, absolutely a joke that you expect me this give this woman even one star for the awful way she treated my friend.

Went to herons for custard came home opened them to find them rotten and a very potent smell. The smell was so bad! I got it on my hands and then unbeknown to me I contaminated my expensive bag wh8ch my late husband bought. Went back to the shop and the staff were knocked by the disgusting smell. Their shop was wreaking. Got replacements and same happened to these ones although these just leaked and weren't off. So back again I went and changed them for tins. Can't even bring myself to eat custard now as it was that bad. It took all their time to reply to say voucher on its way. This was posted 29th June and still not here. No mention about my bag that I had to throw as I would be walking around with this potent smell. Disgusting customer service which takes months to resolve!
Very unhappy customer!

Advertised as a free customer car park in Intake branch, only to receive a parking fine of £100. Heron customer service not remotely interested in helping, saying carpark owned by Have a nice car park Ltd, Totally fraudsters, surely this is illegal, how many more customers have been scammed, just disgraceful.

I would have gave zero stars if I could. All the staff just walk around talking to each other on head sets and literally have no idea what they are doing. It’s like they compete in who can have the worst attitude towards their customers. Absolutely disgusting and won’t be returning!

Heron Foods, Cardiff Road Newport have clearly had a revamp in staff as now the staff are very polite and helpful. Keep it up!

I recently applied for a number or part-time jobs they have advertised in WestYorkshire. I am an University graduate, with licence in economics and commerce, with experience in sales and warehouse. I have all legal rights to live & work in the UK. I live very close to the locations where the vacancies were located, therefore travel to work is secure fast and reliable. Despite all that, all my applications were immediately dismissed.
I wonder why? Hmmmm....
For me, HeronFoods franchise is the most discriminative, racist and hateful company towards legal foreign citizens of UK that apply for their advertised jobs/vacancies. Shame!!!!

Don't use the Lonsdale Store in Doncaster if you don't want to get a PCN. The carpark states free 40 minute parking. But then there are grey signs dotted all over saying beyond this point it ifls for permit holders only. Therefore no entry. I asked the manageress in store and was told to just park behind as long as I was parked under 40 minutes. 8 minutes in store has cost me £199 and heron foods don't give a toss. They have already been in the Doncaster Free Press about this and take no responsibility for staff telling customers to just park behind. Customer services are rude. Sent images and they say they can't see them yet they responded to an email without stating this. Worst place ever. Will never spend a penny in your shops again. Rubbish place

In the queue at the bootle store, @ 14:10.... pushed from behind & verbally abused by a member of staff. Just because she was late for a bus, doesn't give her the right to treat a customer like that. I requested the cctv to be checked, she shouldn't get away with that abusive behaviour. I will not be going in there again.... You've lost a customer

Great Value for money! Its 50/50 whether you get a nice friendly check out assistant.

Just such aggressive staff in some branches. Cleveleys are lovely, always helpful and relaxed. But you get to the Bank Hay branch in Blackpool and it's like M15 are working with there headsets on, eyeing everyone up like they are thieves. They even talk into there headsets when serving you, totally ignoring you like they have more important covert missions at hand. Staff seem overly stressed too. It can be touch and go at dickson road. But can still be an unnecessary stressful experience. Sort it out management. Hire a security guard if shop lifting is that bad. Let the staff focus on customer service.
