I have asked to be contacted regarding my recent hertz experience. No one has made any attempt to communicate. Very disappointing.

The Carmel Hertz branch on Guilford is a joke! Avoid if you can. Gave me a completely different class of vehicle than what was reserved - tried to say it was an upgrade (Don't think getting a Jeep vs. a reserved large luxury sedan is an upgrade). Returned the vehicle and then they called me 2 hours later asking when it will be returned. Ummm...gave the keys to an attendant. That was a little frightening. They then threw on the gas fill-up charge. I left there with a half tank and their pre-inspection showed 4/8 full. I brought it back at 3/4. Trying to get ahold of the branch to dispute is a joke as well!

I've rented cars from other places. They typically do a walk around the car with you before you drive off and when you return. Hertz did not do this. They didn't even acknowledge that I'd returned the vehicle in their system until the next day when I emailed even though I returned it during normal business hours before they closed.
