Hertz - Jackson - Jackson-Medgar Wiley Evers International Airport (JAN) Avis 

First time using Hertz. Did not have the vehicle I reserved so had to settle for a different car. Overall okay experience.

If a vehicle is returned early, credit for un-used time should be credited back to customer.

I had to wait over three hours to get my rental car at the airport. This caused me to miss a meeting with a customer. The vehicle that received was not what I had reserved.

Everything went good with pickup and drop off. The SUV smelled like smoke and was dirty with bugs all over the front. There was no windshield washer fluid.

I was given a car with electrical issues and had to return car which delayed my trip by a full day with no reimbursement for the missed day or inconvenience. Then received another car with issues and numerous lights on the dash. Charged for tolls and no one could explain if I needed to pay the fees or not just a shrug of shoulders. Unable to speak with another and was bounced around from phone to location still with my resolve and additional charges

They never closed out my rental. I never got a receipt. I’ll just go to Enterprise from now on.

Everything went fairly smoothly. I had to wait for a car to be ready, but not too long. Things could have been clearer about where to go when I rented (desk or lot) and what to do with the keys when I returned the car.

I had a great experience with Hertz at JAN (Jackson-Medgar Wiley Evers International Airport). Several other travelers and I had to wait about 30–40 minutes to be processed for our rental car reservations. Despite the wait and the number of customers, the agent working at the counter was very professional, warm, and courteous. She did an excellent job getting everyone taken care of within a reasonable amount of time.

I usually rent from National through my employer, but they had no cars available for several days leading up to my trip to Jackson. Hertz came through when I needed a vehicle, and I had no issues with the car during my daily commute from Flowood to Forest for work.

I’ve consistently received stellar service from Hertz. They have become my go-to rental company at smaller airports, especially when other agencies are sold out.

Pricing at Hertz is absolutely insane

The woman on duty at the desk made the experience quick and easy.

I traveled from Ms to California for my daughter's birthday with my mom, son and dog. The van was not properly cleaned before I got it. We traveled across country and went through Los Angeles 3 hours north and then the power steering disabled. This was a dangerous situation. Spent an entire day on the phone with roadside for me to be told that the nearest Hertz that was corporate was in Los Angeles. Then they told me they would have us ubered and towed to a Meinekie 30 minutes away. Made it there for them to tell us that they no longer dealt with hertz. Back on the phone I was again. We were stuck all day until they finally got someone to deliver another van to us. It was dreadful and changed our trip entirely. This changes my view on how Hertz deals with these type of situations. To date I haven't been offered a refund of any type or free rental days.

Took two hours in line to get my car. Missed work.

The car could have been cleaner. Didn't like that so much (taxes, other required costs) was attached to final bill.

Garage gate closed and could not leave for almost 30 minutes. Hertz kiosk staff had to come to the garage to let several renters leave but she had trouble opening the gate.
