When we got there, they didn’t have any cars available. Nothing was clean so we had to wait an hour. Other than that our experience was good.

Small location is close to me. But getting car with 1/8 tank of gas is not good. I had over 1/4 tank when I returned and there’s no refund. I understand there’s no gas at this facility but employees should be able to fill up tanks before rental

When we got there
When we got there, they didn’t have any cars available. Nothing was clean so we had to wait an hour. Other than that our experience was good.

The booking system is broken.
This is the third time I've had issues renting. The problem isn't this location, it's Hertz.
Previously I'd booked 'Managers Special' to then be told there isn't a car available, it's not guaranteed, and it has to be electric which I don't have the facilities to charge.
I changed to selecting a specific car tier for my last booking, and then was told its not available and I'd have to pay twice as much for the car they had.
Why is Hertz letting customers book cars that are not available and then rolling back to 'the choice is not a guarantee' when you go to pick up?
It's ridiculous. There should be a heads up or an offer to change location rather than racking the price up. People depend on these bookings for life and business.
