Nobody told me that if you have full coverage on any of your own cars. And have rental insurance on them you can opt out of hertz insurance. Instead I got suckered for 600 more dollars. Lesson learned... Voir plus

I am a fairly frequent renter through…
I am a fairly frequent renter through my university (U Wisconsin - Madison). We have discounts through two other rental companies, but I prefer Hertz.
Hertz at Madison airport is fine. This is my first time renting at this location.
Car was filthy. Exterior had greasy fingerprints. Windshield dirty inside and out.
40000+ miles on the vehicle
Gas tank only 1/4 full. When called and asked, they said it was noted on rental agreement and I should just return it on 1/4. When I did just that, I received a huge surcharge for not returning full.
This is a branch that could genuinely hurt the Hertz brand in Madison.
I would like a free rental and discount on future rental.

Well for starters I got a rental car…
Well for starters I got a rental car that had a bad right front wheel that should have never even been on the car when I picked it up drove to the gas station because of the tire light on and it had 21 pounds of air so apparently no one check it out call right away but because it was under my mother name no one at first would help me even though I was listed as primary driver I filled that car up because it was almost empty when I picked it up very disappointed in that after hours on the phone and having my mom reach out i was finally able to get a different car thanks again Cecil but to get a 75 dollar credit instead of a free rental again or credit back I find your company didn't deliver the service I paid for never got credited for the first car I returned with almost a full tank of fuel when it was almost empty when I picked it up then they even spelt my mom's name wrong so 75 dollars to us is a spit in the eye

Scammed out of money

Our reservation was for a Tesla but the representative said they don’t have Teslas at that location. She said we could choose another vehicle & we chose a pickup truck which was fully loaded & we loved. We were very tired after a long flight & appreciated the excellent service.

President's Circle
They didn't have a car for me when I arrived or a child car seat. The woman at the counter felt bad and tried to give me a voucher but couldn't figure out the printer so no voucher. I took a lower tier without a carseat. Then I asked her to remove the car seat from my bill and she said she would once her boss arrived. Also, the car only had a half a tank of gas. Guess what happened when I returned the car? They charged me for not returning the car seat and for not filling up the gas tank. Did I mentioned I'm President's Circle. My airline now does status match with Avis so, likely going to change carriers.
