the airport location was closed when we arrived. on time and they knew our arrival time. no notification. 6 adults with luggage. From the reviews not a new issue at this location.

I got a KIA!
well, they didn’t have the Toyota Camry hybrid that I had requested. They were able to set me up with a Kaya that got incredible gas mileage. I was very happy with the whole experience quick easy and I love Traverse City Airport. Everyone is so friendly.

Quick and easy w/ conundrum
The customer service was quick and easy. The vehicle i selected was not available, so they upgraded my vehicle for my rental. However, a child seat charge was added to the rental even though I was the only person in the car for the trip. After trying to dispute the charge, it was to no avail. Because of this, I can only give 3 stars.

Easy pick up
Easy pick up, great customer service, but these employees should have information about open gas stations on the return. Hertz was wonderful at accommodating after the fact, but my wife and I drove around for 20 min looking for a gas station near the airport, two were closed for construction and 3 were just not open at 6am. This is invaluable information for the customer

I don't recall his name, the Hertz rep at the rental counter at Traverse City airport at ~15:00 on Sunday 30 September, who acknowledged my President's level and was able to accommodate my request for a vehicle with a hatchback (which facilitates my business use of the vehicle) even though I'm required to rent at the lowest level of vehicle (class C or D) - the Gold Board system Hertz uses has been very advantageous for me, and though that site didn't have one, the rep treated me equivalently - glad to have had that hatchback vehicle for this work trip.
