HiQ Tyres & Autocare - Ipswich Avis 

Experienced tyre issues en route to Ipswich and given the severity made a bee line for the nearest garage who were unable to assist as we're the next 2....advised to try HiQ who I'd never heard of. That said after a bit of a wait they sorted me out and got me on my way so I could meet my work deadline.
Great tyres at reasonable prices and Kiran the 'fitter' proved himself a very capable and knowledgeable young man.
All round a good team effort but the Corporate side of the company need to embrace Christmas and buy a tree and give the staff a sizeable bonus.

Friendly, professional service. I have been going to them for about 7 years. They have always kept me informed of a repair and provided an honest opinion. They are prompt with the work and reasonably priced. A friend recommended them a long time a go and I recently recommended them to a friend given their performance with an issue with my current car. I cannot fault them. Dominic is always happy to discuss the issues I may have had with my car. It would take alot for me to switch from them. Cheers Guys! Fed up with the high costs and poor service from other company's, we decided to try HiQ tyres and auto care. From my 1st phone call to picking up the car after the work was done we received helpful knowledgeable and polite help. Before the work was done I received the estimate for the service and two new rear tyre and it was very reasonable compared to other firms. We dropped the car off at HiQ in the morning and caught the bus into town, and when the work was done we caught the bus back. It was very easy and straightforward and the staff at HiQ gave us all the information we needed. We will now be using HiQ for all Of the work we need doing on our cars. I would recommend speaking to them before going else where,

Booked my car in for a service and MOT on the 13th April. Service was fine but was told that my day time running light wasn’t working properly and would fail an MOT if not fixed and was quoted £600+ for a full headlight fitting which can apparently only be purchased from Renault. Upon hearing this and not believing it needed doing or the price quoted was right I took my car to 2 different garages and having 3 different MOT testers look at it I was told that there was absolutely nothing wrong with it and that all my lights are in perfect working condition. I was also told that the quote for £600+ was extortionate and got 2 quotes £260+VAT for a genuine part from Renault and £180+vat for a none genuine part. I have today had my MOT done at a different garage and to no one’s surprise it passed without any mention of the lights being faulty. I am writing this review because had I been an elderly person I might have paid the extortionate price for a repair that never needed doing. Please do not use this garage unless you have money to waste. I have also reported this to trading standards.

Great service by the whole team , my husband been poorly and recovering from surgery so money is very tight the staff was able put us at ease and provide a payment plan . Never once made us feel embarrassed nothing was to much for them . Will be using them for all car work . Thank you guys at HiQ Tyres & Autocare Ipswich

Dominic was most helpful from the initial phone call, checking prices for car tyres and ordering in a tyre for my Honda CRV. On seeing my car, Dominic advised me that the inner edge of my tyre had worn as a result of the tyre tracking being out. Dominic was professional, knowledgeable and provided excellent customer service. I would have no hesitation in recommending HiQ Ipswich.

Well booked a slot as suggested by Tanya Batteries. Arrived and our technician Reagan was professional and helpful,reprogrammed the car after battery was replaced yes it has stop/start. He took it for a test drive to check everything was good. Will definitely use them again A++

Extortionate charge for labour only to fit battery. Also forced spare wheel fastener (spare wheel needed removing to fit battery) on cross threaded. Lucky I checked when I got home and had the tools to sort it. Poor workmanship I will not use them again.

Had a nightmare with a blowout and had to leave my car overnight as the xc60 Volvo does not come with a spare. Phoned HIQ and they ordered a tyre for me to be fitted on the Saturday morning.
Unfortunately the delivery driver slipped off the road in the ice and my tyre would not be delivered on time.
Dominic called all of his contacts as he knew I had to get the car back on the road that day.
No luck as its a strange size tyre. The last resort was to call in a favour and he managed to find a tyre which he collected himself.
Can't fault the excellent service and he kept me updated throughout the whole process.
Would highly recommend this company.

Happy professional staff. Friendly and efficient. First came with a troubling balancing issue on a Nissan after trying other garages. HiQ team at Ipswich sorted the balancing so it felt unbelievably smooth. Have now returned from quite some distance with other family vehicles for a repeat of their good work. Prices fair and work good. Occasional appointments being needed are a small price to pay

My experience was excellent, after 2 visits my tyre was repaired for a very reasonable cost. The first visit to check the tyre, they didn't even charge for. I was advised to keep an eye on the tyre, so not charged for what might be an unnecessary repair.
Then speedy service and a professional outcome. Thanks

Had a problem on New Years eve where my radio wouldn't switch off - I knew that leaving it overnight would lead to a flat battery.
Sam (Woodbridge Road, Ipswich) couldn't have been more helpful.

Took car for MOT which failed! Part had to be ordered which meant not completed until the next day but that wasn't the fault of HiQ. Good service and kept informed of work.

MOT of 14 year old Peugeot - all went relatively smoothly.

Surprised that arrangements could not be fully finalised online - in effect you enquire and the depot ring you back.
