HobbySew Avis 

Having seen the website and being a complete novice, I rang HobbySew to ask for advice as to the type of sewing machine that would best suit my purpose within my budget range. I appreciate that some of the machines were in a "sale", but without listening to my explanations, I was pressurised to consider a particular machine that fitted my budget being told there were only two left in the sale - but it is far more complex than I required. However - I have got it; it came swiftly with all the accessories etc. and I will eventually work it out. So my views are mixed, yes I have a more expensive machine for less money (a good bonus) , but more complicated than I am comfortable with. I shall persevere!!

i couldnt believe the prompt delivery and the price was really good . the sewing machine was exactly what was offered and what i wanted. it runs smoothly and good selection of stitches . button holes were great.

Machine is brilliant (Necchi Alicia). Had problem with instructions but help, advice and support from David and Jason was amazing.

I bought this machine as my machine died on me and I am very busy at the moment. It is very light and compact but does everything I need. The light in particular is ver good and it is very quiet. It arrived in two days too. I am very impressed with this company.

It looks very good value for money

I chose a sewing machine but when it arrived I did not really like it. I made one phone call and after a quick chat they recommended another one. Within two days they collected the first one and delivered the recommended one which I absolutely love. It was all so painless. I would
have no hesitation in recommending both HobbySew and the Décor Style 66sewing machine.

Ordered machine late on sat evening machine was delivered first thing tues morning. Also helpful advice from online chat when looking for specific types of machine.

Item was well priced and then had an additional 10% on-line discount.
The machine arrived very quickly.
The Singer 7470 confidence is an excellent machine with lots of useful features and very easy to use.
I previously had Janome 7025 which was a decent machine but nowhere near as good as the Singer.
I would definitely recommend this machine.

I bought necchi Alicia 66 early July 2015. Although we were interested in janome, the salesman over the phone convinced us nechi is the best sewing machine. Since day 1 the machine has given nothing but trouble. I have tried to contact hobby sew several times both over the phone and email. I only get the answer someone will get back to us. The machine is still not working. I feel he was just trying to dispose a faulty machine by selling it to us.
The machine is certainly within guarantee period. We did a big mistake by waiting for someone to get back to us while the guarantee for return slipped away. Not sure how to go on about it now.

Overall very pleased with the service. Were quick to deliver and love the machine. Instructions even in English which was great. Service very very good. Highly recommend.

Fantastic machine. Did a lot of research before buying this model. Ensure you get the 2015 model as there are other older limited editions still on the market with design faults. These appear to have been addressed with the 2015 model.

Great value for money, easy to use, light to carry and with a wide selection of sewing stiches not found on any other models in the price range.

Initial niggles we had with the sewing machine were soon sorted on line.
Since then trouble free sewing

Very basic not what I was expecting. Not in my opinion good value for money.

After a couple of hiccups I am pleased to be able to say that I now have my sewing machine and the additional extras as advertised. I am very happy with my purchase and thank the company for eventually sorting out the problems I had. Thanks to the team.

Buying from HobbySew was a first class experience in every way. Product knowledge was excellent and the service (ie delivery) was excellent. I never felt pressured into buying a more expensive model - in fact I didn't feel pressurised at all (that's extremely important from my point of view). Helpful staff when i called after not being able to pay online. Machine arrived Toyota 21, excellent machine ! Easy to use, quiet and smooth! Very happy
