The team at Hodders have been nothing but a dream to work with. Special thanks certainly go out to Karen helping us through the trials and tribulations of selling properties in the UK. We were fully briefed on what to expect from Hodders as well as incredible advice on how everything works as it was the first time we had been selling a property. We were even comfortable to ask for advice on another property we were selling which was much further away from areas covered by Hodders.

Also a big shout out to Caitlyn, Harry and Alex for their work on viewings and preparing the property for marketing.

Right from the first day where Karen came and valued our property, she made us feel like a valued client and genuinely wanted us to move forward in the best possible way. This was wholly maintained throughout the process. Hodders incredibly impressed us with 17 viewings within the first two weeks, many of which showed genuine interest in the property as they were well researched buyers and not generic footfall. Hodders fully understood that due to our unique property, they'd very much be selling a lifestyle and not just a home.

We recieved updates via email and over the phone, providing feedback for each viewing. The team were proactive to contact the viewers to gain feedback and answer any outstanding queries. The team kept us realistic and optimistic of the offers made on the property and what we should consider accepting or negotiating with in the current climate to come out with a price that we are very happy with.

We did have one buyer pull out but Hodders came back with more viewings and another offer within two weeks, meaning we didn't miss out on our forward purchase. We will very forever be grateful for this!

Communications throughout the soliciting process were clear and consistent, with regular phone calls to keep us updated on how things were moving on both our selling side and our buyers side. Karen would really go out of her way to get answers when things were outstanding and vague which really helped push the sale through faster than it would have done alone.

We are now exchanged and completing this week and feel Hodders are genuinely excited and invested in our journey which adds the special personal touch that I don't think you get from other estate agents.

The staff at Hodders Addlestone couldn’t have done more to assist in my recent purchase of a 4 bedroom house in Addlestone.

I approached other local agents for assistance as I had just returned from overseas and was a cash buyer. 2 local agents told me to have a look on the internet and call them back if I saw anything that interested me. I was shocked that they had no interest in actively marketing the properties on their books. Hodders answered my many questions, advised me on the process (which is different from my home country) and always treated me like a valued client.

I would highly recommend Hodders to anyone who was considering placing their home on the market and, when the time comes for me to move again, will definitely ask them to handle the sale.

Completely unprofessional company please AVOID if you are a perspective tenant. I put forward an offer of one years rent upfront which was accepted by the landlord fairly quickly. I got a call from Aaron with the news it was accepted on the Friday, he explained the process of completing the documents needed and I confirmed I would have it done the next day (Saturday). When I have then gone to open the documents the link was defective so I was unable to sign the forms. I notified Hodders of this and with no follow up until I contacted them on Monday morning they then told me the property had been let to another tenant - they are closed on Sunday so they have managed to do this in the space of 24hrs even though I had agreed with Aaron terms etc.

I had already been sent the lease (22 pages long with no details of where the deposit is to be sent). They had not contacted me with any update of this news even though they have my mobile number, email and WhatsApp details (they said they tried to call me on Friday and Saturday and I have had 0 missed calls from them). It took for me to approach them enquiring as to why the link wasn't working and where to send the deposit to find out this news. Not only has this company gone behind my back, they have began processes to secure it in place KNOWING THEY HAVE FAILED TO CONTACT ME completely left me in the dark. I asked them why another tenant has been allowed to essentially outbid my already accepted offer without my knowing and they refused to tell me the offer the other tenant put forward, also not allowing me to put another offer forward which may have been of interest to the landlord.

Save your time and please use another trustworthy company for something as important as finding a place to live, as they call themselves a family run business greed is at the forefront of their values.

Tina was a great help for me and my roommate. She provided us with all the information we asked for quickly and if she didn't have answers she made sure we got them as soon as possible. Overall great experience with Hodders.

Good communication from the office team, Tina and Solomon were very helpful. Although, I did find their reference agent - GoodLord - to be unclear on certain particulars. However, a friendly and helpful service overall.

We had multiple agencies trying to sell our home, Hodders got so many more people through the door and ended up getting the sale.
After our home was under offer they were nothing but professional till completion.

Right from the start, Hodders were helpful, always in touch and extremely helpful. We had one buer drop out at the last minute but Hodders were quick to get the house back on the market, always giving me an honest assessment of the value during these tricky times.

Once the next buyers were lined up, Karen Harper of Hodders could not have done anything more than she did to make sure we finally sold the house. She was a great liaison between myself, both sets of solicitors and the buyers. Nothing was too much trouble and I would like to especially thank her and the rest of the team for all their hard work.
