Holdem Removals were outstanding throughout our house move. They were extremely professional, prompt and helpful, especially when we had to change our plans. They were very accommodating and supportive throughout the whole process. Would highly recommend using Holdem Removals.

I got this company suggested by a friend who recently moved, and they really did a good job. They were on time, they took a great care of my furnitures, but they also were very quick. I would definetely rely on them in the future if needed.

Chp Raz and Florin were fast professional and did a fantastic job packing and moving. They arrived bang on time & ythey thought about moving my furniture in best safest way & packing was brilliant. They acted in a friendly manner but didnot presume asking me what I wanted.

Even when theyvhad to wait for keys for hours in v rainy weather they waited so paitently. Price was great as well best my far of rivals.Even their boxes were sturdy and protected contents. The removal team arrived on time and once a tour of the property and what was staying, they began in earnest, we have moved 9 times in our 53 years of marriage and never have we seen a team work so hard and caring for the household items. Our removals team were great, they were efficient and friendly and worked really hard. They respected us and all of our stuff and kept us informed. We would defintely recommend them and would use them again ourselves, but hopefully not for a long time 🤣

Very efficient coming round to give us a quote, which was very Competitive and with no hidden extras, on the removal day the removal guys turned up exactly on time and got the vans loaded very quickly, everything reached our new house (over 100 miles away) intact and the guys put everything in the rooms where it needed to go, very pleasant and friendly guys and couldn't do enough to help,I would definarely recommend Holdem Removals

They arrived at 8.30, were very polite and courteous, got on with the job immediately and were very organised. The move was the least trouble of the whole moving process, due to their efficiency. I would highly recommend this company.

The Guys were awesome. They arrived just before 9am, loaded up without fuss, clearing the upstairs first to enable me to clean the rooms whilst they were loading the 2 vans. By 10.45am the entire contents of our house & garden were loaded and on their way to our new home some 160 miles away. When we booked them we were told it would be same day load & unload which we thought would be a tall ask, however they proved to be right & all our property was safely unloaded into the designated rooms before 5pm!! We paid for our recliner sofa to be dismantled & reassembled and it was worth it - these guys are experts! They were all so polite and efficient I cannot rate them highly enough and such good value for money for 3 men, 2 vans & 160 mile trip. Puts the big global firms to shame (twice the price as these). Keep up the good work - I hope you got something good to eat for your dinner!

Punctual, efficient and all went well

Great service, both of them were very polite, cooperative. They shifted all furniture and boxes taking utmost care and without any damage. It was a rainy day on the day of our moving, so care was taken to avoid muddy footprints by placing rubber mat, also mattresses were covered in plastic.

Absolutely brilliant! The movers were super polite, professional and considerate. Amazing at their jobs - worked impressively quick and very efficient.

We found Holdem's communication the most friendly and straightforward of all the companies we contacted for moving quotes. The move itself was really easy and professional. We had a few delays on the day, but the team adapted and handled it well - and were apologetic for the longer timeframe. They also had the most competitive pricing.

It is important to note that although we are giving a poor critique of our house mover there are some facts that are of a more positive note. First of all, the workers showed up on time with their vans. There were five men with one man in charge. All the men worked incredibly hard during the worse storm of the season on Friday 14 November, 2025 moving all of our things including 52 potted plants both from inside the house and outside which were wet. We were so pleased with the pick up of our things we gave the workers $25 to buy something on the trip of 160 miles and 3 hours. The man in charge was kind enough to ask us to inspect our premises to make sure they had collected every thing before they left to deliver our things to our new home.

Some of the problems occurred during the delivery and others were with the materials we paid £210 for from the mover. Four out of five wardrobe boxes were cut by the manufacturer incorrectly so the leaves to seal the boxes were mismatched most on the bottom and some on both the bottoms and tops. The tape supplied was the worse tape we have ever used as it did not peel off the roll without leaving it sticky on both sides in places. Some boxes were discovered after delivery to have very wet undersides. Even though it was raining heavily, we believe boxes were set down in the wet inside or outside the van. Those boxes had to be turned over gently before unloading upside down.

We believe there was only one English speaker amongst the five workers used which made it impossible to communicate as the boxes were unloaded. Only the one man in charge spoke enough English. We left signs on all the boxes to indicate which floor they should be laid but no one paid any attention to this so the boxes were all mixed forcing us to lift some boxes from the ground floor to the first floor and in reverse. Even though some boxes were clearly labelled “fragile”, other heavy boxes were laid on top. Some of our expensive furniture for the living room was scratched.

Great Price. Over and above customer service from office staff and the removals team. Time keeping excellent. Careful, considerate, polite removals team (I had 4) professional at all times. Nothing was too much trouble. Heartily recommend.
