Did not see the reviews before ordering my items.
After experience 1 delay I researched company and saw the reviews. They delayed and delay. Changed delivery times, do not answer phone, do not update by email unless you insist. The 4th failed delivery they tried to manipulate and again change the delivery date. Requested my money back immediately. I will have to contact my bank and try to get my money back. I cannor believe it. £600 stolen.

Before you pay and place your order they are very nice to you and guarantee delivery day.
Once you’ve paid you can no longer get in touch with them on the phone and they won’t respond to your emails.

They are a scam and just want to steal your money!

Never order from them because you’ll never receive what you’ve ordered but you’ll be short of pocket nonetheless!

Disgraceful company if you can even call them one.

PLEASE AVOID this company

PLEASE AVOID this company. I was sworn at during a phone call by a foreign man when I simply asked where my order was. I was then told I wouldn’t be getting my money back either because I left an honest review of my experience. The item I paid for was clearly not in stock, yet they took my payment anyway and have repeatedly pushed the ‘delivery’ date back with no explanation. This feels dishonest and completely unacceptable.

They take your payment, then make excuse after excuse for their non-delivery of electric fire suite!
Then they fail to refund full payment made in advance.

Avoid!!!
I ordered a sofa from House of Living. The delivery was promised within 4–6 days, but the date was continuously postponed. Eventually, the company cancelled the order and informed me that a full refund would be issued.

It has now been several weeks and no refund has been received. I contacted the company multiple times by email and they stopped responding. The phone number listed on their website does not answer.

Extremely disappointing online buying experience
KEEP AWAY!!!

Avoid at all costs, I bought fireplace from this company late September 2025, all seemed good even gave me a courtesy call. A few days before delivery they emailed me saying that the item was damaged and they needed to get another from their supplier. Another date was arranged for delivery. Then 2 days before delivery another email saying that my order has been cancelled!!. They said that the money would be refunded back to the card of payment within 5 to 7 working days. Never got refund and low and behold they are not answering emails or phone, shock horror. If you want to get scammed knock yourself out, you have been warned ⚠️.

Avoid at all costs

Avoid at all costs. I ordered some furniture for a new clinic and was advised that the delivery would be made the following Thursday between 9am - 11am. At 11:08am I rd urged an e mail to say that the stick was damaged and they had to contact the supplier for additional stock. The order was scheduled to be delivered the following Thursday 16th October. On the delivery day the order got cancelled. No explanation, no phone call, nothing. I e mailed them and called and they said a refund would be issued. I called them on October 28th to chase the refund and was told it had been processed. I have not received this. Further e mails are being ignored.

THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM

Ordered a bed from house of living. 20 minutes before the delivery was expected to arrive I got an email the bed was damaged and wouldn't be ready for a week. The day of the rescheduled delivery I got another email that my order had been cancelled and a refund would be issued in 5-7 days. It's been 2 weeks and no refund. At no point, by email or phone, have I been able to contact the seller. I've had to go through my bank and try to dispute this. Based on some of the recent reviews this seems to be a common practice for this company.

Sold me a bed never turned up

Sold me a bed, on the day of delivery they contacted me via email to state the bed was damaged so are waiting on a restock to their warehouse expected a week later. That day came and they cancelled my order. They said I have to wait 5-7 working days for the refund to appear. The days past and any communication to their emails goes unanswered.

Appalled at the way my order was dealt…

Appalled at the way my order was dealt with. £500 for an electric fire never received and now they still have not refunded me and this is since August 7th. Iv been called a liar and now my credit card company are dealing with it. Do not trust this company with your money. Trading standards have also been notified.

Did not deliver fireplace I ordered

Did not deliver fireplace I ordered. Still not refunded me and played with me on the phone for fun sending me around in circles. Not prepared to speak with me because of my tone. Horrible bogus individual is clearly taking people's money and ripping them off. Reported to trading standards. Do not use at all costs. Sick robbing evils of society.
